We spent a night in the main building and one next to the square and I personally could not see the bonus of staying in the one branded as being in the square. It's not a far walk from the main building to the square and you don't get an actual view of square from the special rooms. It's at the far end of an alley that connects a street to the square. But both buildings were quite nice and worked great.

It was a nice hostel, checkin was at a diffrent place but that wasn't too far away. The location is very good and facilities were nice. Hot showers! Definitely one of the nicer hostels I stayed at

It's really near the Grand Place, but you need to check in at a different place, which is a bit of a walk away.

There needs to be a reception close to the hostel or it needs to be on the hostelworld website that the reception is a good 10-15minute walk

Hands down the BEST location for a hostel! Right in the middle of the Grand Place. The rooms were very clean as well as the bathroom. I had 6 bed ensuite room. The shower was really nice! It was pretty noisy, but that's what happens when you are so centrally located. It was slightly inconvenient having to check in at a different location, but they are not too far apart. If you are going to Brussels, I would highly recommend Hostel Grand Place!!!

Great place overall, only wish that the showers were normal instead of the ones they had where you have to push a button every 30 seconds to keep the water coming

In general it was great, its a new hostel so it was not completly done, but it was on a perfect location. Only one thing, if you needan employee, you need to go on the other hostel.

Unbelievable location with very comfortable rooms. Perfect hostel for Bruxelles in my opinion. Don't worry about the check-in being at a different location. Check-in is actually between the Noord-Station and the hostel. Really not at all inconvenient.

The price didn't reflect what you got. The rooms were decently fitted out, and the bathrooms were quite modern and new, though paying almost 30 euros a night for a hostel is pretty steep!

The rooms are awesome - great linen, spacious, comfy beds, lockers. Amazing location. However there is only a small common area/ kitchen, which is alright but the worst part is there is never no one working there. It's like a self service hostel. You check in at a check in point 20 minutes away then walk to the hostel. If you have questions, concerns, anything, forget it - unless you want to walk to the check in point! If you are okay with that - then good choice!

The staff was nice. Even it wasn't the check in time they opened to let some people in so they want stay in the rain. The location is fantastic. I would definitely come back again

The Hostel is very good in almost everything. The location is PERFECT. However, I had one bad night there... It was already spring, but It was freezing cold in my room and the staff said they couldn't turn on the heat because of the time of the year so I slept with more clothes on to keep myself warm. It was a very cold night and I didn't sleep well, I wish they could have been more flexible about this. And even with a locker is impossible to lock your stuff in the 'closet' in the room.

I visit here middle of May, and the weather was cold and the room too. It was so cold inside and there was no hitting system in the room. And I coudn't control the water temperature. It wasn't very pleasent experience But Location was fantastic.

stayed here few days ago. I had booked the "Hostel Grand Place" and had to find out that I need to check in at their main location which was not very close to Grand Place. The reservation email didn't say anything about checking in at a different location at all. both guys at the reception were in a very bad mood and unpatented with the guests. one of the guys looked angry and was close to a break down. Both were ready for a confrontation. its not an easy job to answer the same question over and

I arrived quite late. Before 1hour I contacted to the hostel and told that I will be in a while. Guy from reception was registering me around15-20 min...and was confused with my booking time. I did not understand how you charge for staying in the hostel, cuz when I paid online , it was written that when I m in hostel I pay not 18 but minus money which I payed for kinda booking. Language skill of staff are poor. To be honest I fell down in bathroom once, its too small. Windows in room not working
