Location was right next to the grand place, what was really good. There was no breakfast besides coffee and tea. The rooms are very very small especially the bathrooms- so if you have more than 150kg you probably won\'t fit in! Another negative point was, in particular you have no mobile device for internet access, you have to do a 10 min-walk to get to the front desk, where they have computers with IA and you can store your luggage upthere.

I'm very surprised about the hotel! It's located in right the center of the city!!!! Moreover, the facilities in the room is excellent. However, the common room is just good enough! But never mind, I love the dorm!

There's no staff, only the cleaning lady a few hours in the morning. And no security at all, no one check who's coming in. On top of that our room didn't have a key. As a result, someone came inside the room in the middle of the night (how creepy is that!) And two people got is belongings stolen. The only good thing is the location, but i think it's not worthy enough for all the other problems.

I was losted all my papers and money when I was sleeping at the night 17/05/2012. There was another person had the same problem with me. The grand place hostel has only one key of the main door. They do not have a key for each room. When I complained my problem they did not care about it even did not says a words "sorry". She told us that she is just a worker here and did not let me say any words with the directeur of the hostel. I must to go back my country without money and papers.

No security. There are no staff on the premises in the evening. Dormitories do not have lockable doors. There was a break in one night when one resident lost 1300 euros and the staff at the HQ on Jacqmain were brusque and dismissive. Very highly priced. Small dorms, and the hostel was literally a building site. ONE TO AVOID.

Location is excellent although you have to check in in another hostel far away. The room seemed to be very clean and the bathroom new, but the wifi wasn't really working in the room, and the kitchen... well, you couldn't really call it a kitchen.

It's still partially in construction so if you want the hostel to provide good atmosphere - you won't find it here. But the location is Perfect, the rooms are very clean, very well equiped (linen, towels, comfortable large beds - even bunks can be comfortable!), showers and tolets new, so very nice.

1. You have to check in at another address and walk all the way back to where you live, not recommended for disoriented travelers who come to Brussels the first time. And it looks really shabby from outside. 2. There were no staff in the building. Construction work going on and the common area was disgustingly dirty. 3. The shower and bathroom were newly renovated, they were clean and nice. 4. Location is right next to the Grand Place.

The reception is at a different building, which is 10-minute walk away, so there was no staff present at this hostel except for the cleaning lady, who worked only in the mornings, and if there was a question, you had no one to ask except for the fellow travellers. Also, wifi was working only in the lobby, which meant climbing down steep stairs every time I wanted to check my email. Those steep and narrow stairs were a problem for those with heavy bags - there was no elevator available.

I only stayed one night and the hotel was being refurnished but the potential is great! Ah the flush from the room 41 was working poorly. Thanks

The hostel is under renovation. Wifi was accessible on the ground floor. Check-in was 15 min walk, and would be uncomfortable, but we were lucky to catch the staff at hostel.

I did not like that we had to do the chek-in in other place a little far. The hostel needs a reception and a luggage room.

Amazing location. Nice rooms but quite stuffy. Lacks a kitchen/common room and a bit of a hassel to check in the other side of town. Overall good though.

Pros: Location is good, not great. Yes, it's next to Grand Place but having to go to 2GO4 hostel first to check in, this hostel is essentially a 20 minute walk from the station. Bed was comfortable. Cons: The place is an absolute disaster. No staff except at night time there's a guy who watches movies who I think is staff, maybe not. Horrible atmosphere. Internet didn't work at all. Close the place for a month and fix it up, really.
