Management were absolute idiots. The place is being renovated and waking up to hammering was just great. No real communal place to meet people. The only thing that is actually nice was the rooms... Very clean and a nice ensuite.

This was a nice place to stay, with new beds, new ensuite bathrooms, and a new kitchen. The location right off Grand Place was great. Like other reviews have said, it will probably get much higher ratings once construction is finished. Walking up and down the narrow staircase with luggage was a bit difficult, but not terrible. Was difficult to get a good WiFi connection.

Great location, and really comfortable beds. No organization on site, so get the Use-it map for self tours.

Very good place in terms of location! The rooms are newly renovated, but hallways and lobby/entrance was still under renovation. The only thing i didnt like was the room lockers. You need a padlock-the big ones like you use in highschool, it cant be those small ones used on the luggage. If you dont have a lock/padlock you would have to walk 20 mins to 2go4 hostel and drop your luggage there in their luggage storage. But the good thing is that theres hot drinks there when you go there in the morn

This hostel was being renovated whilst we visited!!!!!!! Windows at the front of the building were boarded up as if there had been a recent break in and the lift was out of operation and being worked on from the early hours of the morning. Overall the beds were comfortable and clean. Location was a massive bonus, didn't waste time negotiating the transport system as everything we wanted was on our doorstep.

Even though the place was under reservation, it was a good stay. English needs to be a bit better, as we didn't know what we had to do when we arrived at the Hostel. Didn't enjoy the cleaning lady come into our room without knocking. But it was a good room and we enjoyed the quietness, when sleeping. But there weren't many people to mingle with.

great location, but it's sketchy. stayed in the original hostel where you check in another night, the 2go4 hostel, suggest it more. its only a 5 min walk further but nicer and better atmosphere

The hostel is kinda hard to find cos the map they provided was hard to read at night and you have to check in and get your key at a different hostel making it so fussy and troublesome . When giving comments to the staff , she replied : " I am just a worker here" and I said :" but I am helping you to improve your service ! " A group of Spanish teenagers were having party in the room , honestly I couldn't sleep well that night. Honestly , this is the worst hostel I stayed during my trip in Europe

It was very comfortable with the bathroom en suite, although it was a bit annoying that the check in had to be done in another location :)

I won't write about the fact that the reception was in another hostel because I knew that upfront. Also I knew that the hostel is being built, so the chances that the sound of a drill on your wall wakes you up are pretty high. But the worst about this hostel is the guy at the reception, one day I arrived late to the hostel and he threatened to kick me out of the place, even with the night paid. He claims to have 10 years of experience but I swear it is the first time that happens to me.

The hostel was still in renovation, so it was a little messy... The place to get the key of the room was an other hostel, so the staff was almost inexistent in this place... Still, the location was very good, the room clean, and the lookers big ^^ So I still recommend this place if you just need a place to "visit the town & sleep" ;o)

Great location literally right off of the Grand Place. From the outside, it looks a little sketchy (just a door in a narrow alleyway) but it's pretty nice inside. Nothing extravagant, but simple, clean, new facilities. Wifi works fine; there appeared to be a plug by each bunk. Lockers provided; bring your own padlock. Not much community. Check-in at the 2GO4 hostel is a little far, but really right on the way if you're coming from Brussels Nord station. Staff there were friendly and helpful.

Checkout is 11.00 a.m., so naturally the keycards stop working at that time.

Everything was good but beware of the walk to the check-in hostel. We didn't pay attention to the instructions very well and it ended up being quite the hike with all our huge backpacks. Once we were in though it was good, close to everything and comfortable.

Enjoyed my stay and met some nice people whilst there. No complaints about the hostel, in fact it exceeded my expectations given the cost of the room. Would recommend this hostel to friends.

I've just stayed 1 day. Atmosphere was cool there was a common room and kitchen. Bathroom was really clean and good with separated shower, toilet and sinks. There was free towel. Location is excellent you can walk everywhere and if you go out at night, it's easy to come back by walking. I am not so sure about security I didn't have any problem but there was kinda no staff around. I just saw one staff at night. I suggest you to choose this hostel. I would stay again.
