The owner was very friendly, very helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Nice and peaceful, set away from the centre of Bled town by a 15 minute walk. Ideal.

I stayed in Hacienda for a week. It's cosy atmosphere, peaceful location and lovely garden made me feel like home and after small roadtrip in Slovenia I came back to Bled and Hacienda as they were the best places to be. Haciendas staff, Cvetka and Sandi, are amazing and have allways smile on their face. They are willing to help their guests and they have discounted rates for activities around Bled. Hope to see you again! Miss you allready.

This is a great place to stay and would definantly come back if I had a chance. Staff are brilliant and house is lovely on the edge of farm area plus they will pick you up and drop you off from the bus/train. Bled is a great place to do excursions from aswell. In the heat of summer this place will be amazing, nice drinking area to hang out after a big day of adventure :)
Comfortable beds. A lovely setting (looking out over fields), but a decent walk (20mins) out of the centre. Clean, and the host was very good and helpful. There is no internet at the property, though - you have to go to the tourist office which is quite a walk away to get internet. Kitchen facilities are good.
Cute and clean but no internet at the hostel. Required a long walk into town for internet access, and access to activities and sites. This would be a good hostel if you had a group and wanted a quiet location.
I wouldn't recommend this hostel, particularly if you will not have a working phone in Slovenia. There was nobody at the hostel on our arrival and we had no way of contacting any staff during our stay. The owner of the hostel was rude. There was a stench in the downstairs bathroom and the upstairs bathroom had water all over the floor and a blocked shower drain. No curtains in our room.
We arrived at the hostel at 6:00, just as we indicated in our reservation, and there was no one there to let us in! We had to ask a neighbor to call the host to let us in. The woman who runs the hostel isn't pleasant. Downstairs bathroom smells bad and upstairs shower doesn't drain well. There were dustballs in our room. The hostel is on a nice quiet street but about a 10 to 15 minute walk into town. I would not stay here again.
Nice hostel with nice rooms, big lockers, good bathrooms and fully equipped kitchen. The location is a bit out of the centre (approx 10-15 minute walk). It seemed like a really quiet hostel - everyone seemed to do their own thing (both staff and other guests). Good and relaxed place to stay.
A beautiful hacienda tho a little bit out of town but would be fantastic if U had your own transport. I had a beautiful room with verandah overlooking farms, horses with apple and pear trees reaching up. Free pickup and return by a charming taxi man was a nice bonus. The young teenaged son worked from morning to night looking after the hostel but I felt the Madam of the house couldve done with a little more marketing skills. A lovely place to base yourself to explore beautiful L.Bled
unforgetable two floor house with great garden in front, quiet and nice decorated room, oh, the kitchen is very clean!
As others have said, it's a bit out of town - but in a small town that means a 5-10minute alk, and you get a good nights sleep too - no traffic or town noise.
This hostel is just OK. The owners were hardly ever there, when we got there some other guests let us in which was fine, but it might be a pain if you get there an it's empty. If you have a car the location is fine, otherwise its a bit of a walk. The rooms were fine with roomy lockable lockers for everyone, but the bathrooms were a little stinky. Kitchen and party room were nice, but they should let you play foosball without having to reserve it in advance!
Good place, good staff, I really enjoy my stay! We had a very nice balcony! It tooks me 25min walking from the bus station to the hostel, it is not much, but when u r carrying a heavy bag it is not that simple The directions are not clear enough if u do not take a taxi!
It was a really good location and the kitchen was amazing. The people who own the hostel don't actually stay there so you rarely see them but it is kept very clean and it's very fun in the basement "party room"! Also if you stay there for 3 or more nights you get a free transfer to the main train station...very handy. Would definitely stay there again if I go back to Bled.
A very nice place. We arrived so late and they send us a sms in order to come into the hostel without any problems. So nice!
Hostel Hacienda was, at the same time, the best hostel we have stayed in, the worst hostel we have stayed in and, most definitely, the most bizarre hostel we have stayed in. Stay here - everyone should have to once. By law!!
A great place, although slightly out of the way, but only a short walk into town. Call them on your arival and you will get a free lift. The place is spotless, very comfy, has a great kitchen but the owners have no clue as to what is going on... just makes the stay all the more interesting. Expect to raise your eyebrows a few times while your there.
Owner/staff is not on site. They only come once in the morning and once in the evening. When I arrived, i had to find a phone to call their cell phone to get the key combination to get in, find out which room/bed to use etc. Very incovenient if one does not have a cell phone.
good kitchen and nice comfortable dorms. they have falsely advertised a few things, there is certainly not 24hr reception, when i arrived there was nobody there and they had left a number to call, i didnt have a phone and had to ask a random to borrow theirs. the owner came in once a day to do a few things, there wasnt really a reception at all. and it says there is internet but there are no computers. directions could have been a bit clearer.
