The check-in place at night is a bar. They opens the music to maximum until 12hr.And I told the staff this situation ,then the feedback was " only weekend",but tomarrow they continued. The staff came into room without our opinion for finding a plug to charge his cellphone.the last night, there is someone eles sleep in my bed.If you want to relax, just far away from here. But if you like to have fun or go to night club,it's your best choice!

I was moved twice from my bed to another right as I was about to go to sleep. They didn't change the sheets of the bed I was moved into to. One shower was ice cold and the second was scalding hot then icy cold. The location was perfect for those who want to visit the Vatican and is close to the metro. When I checked in to drop off my stuff, they put it in another room. When I returned, people were hanging out around my stuff.

Great location, cool staff and fun vibe. Pretty unorganized, but equally easy going as far as lock out and lights out are concerned. If you're expecting more than a place to sleep and meet people this might not be for you, but I really enjoyed myself. Bonus: free pasta every night!

ear, I know it is the expectation should be different when staying in a hostel rather than a hotel. However, unfortunately I have to say that the service is horrible at this hostel. The feeling is that the hostel which is a commercial building, works as something illegal. There is no nameplate on the door and if you arrive the night can not know what floor you need to lift. The place is dirty, the reception smells of smoke, the bed clothes stink, despite being exchanged every day. The floor is

We tried to make ourselves a coffee and the table in the Kitchen was a mess. I looked for some cloth to clean the table and they told me they didn't have one. I took some toiled paper and did it myself. I tried to take 2 "clean" glasses and I could not. Every thing was dirty and all the plates and dishes were dirty. Even the sponge to do the washing up was greasy. During my stay(5d) we had 1 toiled with hot water. They take out all mattresses at 10:30 - suggesting for me "get out of the hostel"

Free pasta dinner every night at 9 pm was good and an excellent way to meet people at the hostel. There was a lockot from 10-5 every day, but you could check in during that time to leave your things. The wifi is in the common rooms and hallway, but doesn 't always reach to other rooms. Sometimes the showers aren't hot and the bathrooms get dirty pretty quickly, but they clean every day. People are usually pretty friendly. It's a great location- about a 10 minute walk to St. Peter's!

Cleanliness wasn't great. To many male staff made me a little uncomfortable. Staff should act more approriately towards their guests, especially the girls. Lockout was a little strange. But I will say free dinner was an excellent idea.

This place has everything a hostel needs to have +free noodles if you are there thursday to sunday. Those free noodles are served in the evening and it's rather a smal portion: So it's good to have a propper lunch or making real dinner afterwards. It's 24h reception and you don't get a key. Just ring the bell. The hostel is in the 5th floor, which can be reached by an old fashioned lift wich is an experience for itself. But still: Happy days Roma promise a good time close to Vatican CIty.

The hostel, as seemingly many other, does not give any bill once you pay, which seems for me a proof that the company does not pay correctly their taxes and that the 2euros of "turist tax" simply stay in their pocket. Once you enter you enter you are asked to sit and wait to be attended/served and then you are called by a very informal "come now". If you ask for a bill they will tell you to come later for it(because of course they dont want to give one to you)>>finall it will be just handwritten

The hostel was great mostly because of the people staying there. there was a friendly inclusive athmosphere. There are a few downsides: the hostel is closed between 10 and 5 which means you are paying for a bed which you are only allowed to sleep in at night. you have to find a park for a siesta. its not overly clean, when a blanket is supplied it should have been washed, the bathrooms were a bit manky if you didnt get to them 1st. there was no sign of the pasta dinner when we were there.

they didn't give me the receipt and when i arrived they didn't ask me the documents,so they couldn't know who I was. They changed my bed at midnight and the bathrooms were all out of order.

This is not a hostel I would go back! When I arrived there the music was very too loud. So loud that you cannot talk to other people without screaming and it's awful after a day walking in the town. It's also very dirty. They close the hostel from 10am to 5pm to clean, but we don't have the same definition of the verb "to clean" I think. There are not really any lock in the rooms, or not enough for the numbers of bed. No key for the room and only one hot shower!

Literally the worst place ive ever stayed in my entire life. I wouldnt send my enemies here for one night. you wonder why there arent any pictures? bc its a sh*thole. number one...anyone can just act like they are staying at the hostel and just walk right in. there is no security. i had no where to live my stuff so i was constantly worried about my things getting stolen. the beds. disgusting. people just change bed at random. the showers and bathrooms. HORRID. PLEASE. if you read this. STAY AWAY

Not all the bathrooms had hot water, but that being said, the staff was incredibly! They made us all free pasta every night for dinner, and we would all hang out and listen to music, etc. It's not a five star hotel, but the staff were really fun and I would definitely go back. You do have to be out of the hostel for cleaning every day from 10am-5pm, but that's just more incentive to go see Rome! If you're looking for interaction with people from all over the world, Happy Days is the place.
