We stayed for 4 nights and they were awesome, excellent location, nice place (neat and clean), better staff, Justin was really cool with us (get him a pay rise). I think when it comes to hostels in Rome, it doesn't get any better.

DON'T BOOK! 1) Creepy staff 2) Lock out from 10 am - 4:30 pm for "cleaning"... the hostel isn't very clean so who knows what they actually do during this time. At 9:30 they come into your room and take apart your bed. 3) THEY BLAST MUSIC ALL NIGHT UNTIL 1 AM 4) 2 showers. No towels but I guess it doesn't matter because you never get a chance to shower anyway. 4) The power goes out in the bathrooms and none of the outlets work 5) The breakfast is a lie... there is free espresso.. that's it

Creepy staff, dirty rooms, loud music blaring all night, terrible bathrooms, sketchy.

Very nice staff, I appreciated their advice. Very good location of the hostel. In the evenings music was very loud, but for me it was not a problem.

There is a strict lock out and they remove all beds from the rooms each day. In fact, I returned one night to find that the bed I had been staying in no longer existed and my stuff had been laid on the ground and on another bed. The staff was nice enough, but creepy at times. One of the friends I was staying with found bed bugs in his room and got several bites. If you are looking for a cheap place close to the Vatican, this is an okay option. But be aware of what you are getting yourself into.

Came home itchy from stay. Worried about cleanliness there. Not enough facilities (showers + lockers) for the number of guests.

My stay was very odd. I was woken up very early in the morning to the entire staff in my room dismantling the bunk-beds. There was no privacy and no locks on the doors. The place was filthy. The sheets were moved from bed to bed during the day without being washed.

To its credit, this hostel is in a great location and the staff were pretty friendly. However, it was somewhat lacking in the cleanliness department. One of my friends suspected that his bunk the first night had bed bugs. I'm just glad I had a travel pillow because the first night the pillow provided had no cover and I noticed some dark colored stains on the back as I was looking at it. Needless to say, I didn't use that pillow. The four bathrooms were not always that clean either.

Everything they say about this hostel is true. Do not stay here unless you really have to say money. It is not THAT bad, but is bad.

Besides the location (near the Vatican) this hostel has nothing else good going for it. Only 4 bathrooms, little security, long hike up the stairs.

The hostel was a zoo with no privacy. Limited bathrooms (4 with a toilet and shower each). The first morning there I woke up with what looked like mosquito bites on my ankles, arms, and face. Not sure if it was a reaction to the sheets (I slept on the quilt from then on), or I was sharing the bed with tiny friends.

This is definitely a party hostel, impossible to sleep without earplugs. Slightly uncomfortable atmosphere but for 10 euros it was doable. Free sangria party was a good way to meet people and they were helpful with helping us find stuff to do

This is a extreme party hostel. the free sangria is great but do not even try to sleep before 1 or even hangout there if you dont wanna feel like you are in a frat house. the workers are slightly unusual but nice. good for the money, unsure if I would go again though.

The lock-out here was SO long, 7hrs,and for some reason they would start taking the beds apart before lock-out began. The staff took over the whole hostel. Some lived there and would play loud music every night and chase each other around or throw balls at each other? It was hard to meet people here because you felt like you were in the staff's space not a common area.Even using the kitchen could be difficult because of how much the staff used it. Bottom-line, everything felt very unprofessional.

We only stayed here for a night but it was a good, clean & well-maintained hostel. The location is excellent as it's on the main road and very close to the Vatican, Castel Saint Angelo and a the Piazza del Popollo although you need to take the metro to get to the main train station and some of the other attractions in Rome.
