Staff were all friendly and funny. They tried to remember names. They shared desserts.

Staff were friendly, helpful and it always lively in the evening! Could have done with more lockers to store personal items as all were full.

Really great place and people! Staff offers help at all times, coffee all mornings and Sangria most evenings. Common room and kitchen make for a good place to stay. Baths and bedrooms are tidy and clean. Vatican as well as historic Rome are within some minutes walk, a supermarket is one block away. Will be my first choice when returning to the Eternal City!

One of the best hostels I've stayed at! Staff love to get to know you and make sure you have a great time inside and outside of the hostel. Good location. If you like to have fun while you travel, this is the place! Thanks for an awesome time!

I really liked that it was a young and hip hostel, but it felt so dirty and kind of smelled as well. The water was freezing cold and did not warm up. The blankets and sheets looked really dirty as well. There was no place to put my stuff and lock it in up in my room (however, my friends in another room did have a shelf). Overall, it was an okay experience but there is alot of room for improvement.

This is the perfect place to stay if you are a young European backpacker or a study abroad student on a mini vacation. This hostel is within walking distance of the Vatican and is also close to all of Rome´s other main attractions by foot. I recommend this hostel to anyone looking for a good time and an inexpensive place to stay for a few nights. Hostel Happy days will always bring back good memories to me!

I have missed this place since the moment I left. I have never stayed anywhere that I have met such amazing people. Can't wait to go back! Very clean, fantastic staff that I love to bits, great atmosphere, and great Sangria, and coffee in the morning. Perfect! M xx

The rooms were dirty; dirty floors, dirty windows, no curtains, just a sheet with before the window. Toilets and shower were not very clean, thanks to the inhabitants of the hostel... There were more inhabitants, working there to live there, than guests. A lot of noise all the time; loud music, talking and screaming in front of other room doors, people trying to get in the room during the night... Positive point: luckily the sheets were clean! It's cheap, but don't expect a real hostel...

There are many staff who all come from different countries and most of them are very nice. Strong socializing atmosphere here, you will find it super easy to talk to everybody living heret!! the staff took us to experience Rome nightlife and we had spanish wine party in the hostel every night! however if you are light sleeper or just want to stay quite and take a rest this is definitely not the place cause it is never quiet here. and it is quite annoying they wake u up every 10am for cleaning.

This is a good hostel for no more than 2-4 nights. I wouldn't recommend a long stay here. The Locks on the bathroom doors are really weak, there are only 3 lockers to a room of 10 people. It's a loud sort of party hostel so if you intend on sleeping this is not the place. The staff was pretty helpful with directions and there was sangria at night and espresso in the mornings. Overall I would stay here again but not for long periods of time.

Everything is perfect! If anything I'd recommend having more locker spaces.

Happy Days is a good hostel and the staff is like a family, some guys around the world that works there. It was very good my stay there. I have only two things that is important to say. The first is that we must be out of the hostel between 11 am and 4 pm to clean, i didn't like this idea. So if you want sleep all day long it is not the best option. The other thing is cause it is possible to the change you bag of place or something like that. Particulary, i didn't like this.

If all you want is a place to lay your head at night and a living room with WiFi, this is an awesome deal! They have a 10-5pm lockout where all the guests have to leave so they can "clean". The staff do clean, but from what I saw not 7 hours worth. I would expect an immaculate place if all 4-5 staff were really cleaning everyday. Also, they had excel sheets of their guests reservations but didn't really know when you were leaving....

Party hostel!! Free sangria at night and excellent coffee in the morning! Definitely better for the younger crowd. Only downside is the limited number of bathrooms and lockers. We couldn't lock our stuff up, but we trusted the staff and nothing was ever stolen.

I would say Happy Perfect days in Roma. Location of hostel is just perfect. Atmosphere was great, with party, sangria and pasta! Great staff, lot of fun and joy. Definitely someday we will return!

It was a bit strange, I booked 2 nights in 6 people room, but first day i slept i 4 people room, and then, when I came back to the hostel, after all day spent out, my bed (entire, bunk bed :o) and all my stuff was moved into another, 10-person room, and nobody had told that it would be like that me before... :/ but staff was rather nice and hostel was rather clean (one thing I didn't like was that they give you a duvet with only one bedsheet)
