It was a bit strange, I booked 2 nights in 6 people room, but first day i slept i 4 people room, and then, when I came back to the hostel, after all day spent out, my bed (entire, bunk bed :o) and all my stuff was moved into another, 10-person room, and nobody had told that it would be like that me before... :/ but staff was rather nice and hostel was rather clean (one thing I didn't like was that they give you a duvet with only one bedsheet)

The showers and toilets aren't enough for everyone. The staff is good, but the lock out from 10 am till 5 pm so the staff can "clean" is an excuse to get rid of the guests. They have a good smoking area and great environment. The kitchen is quite small and is hard to cook because the staff lives there and they eat all the time. The bedrooms are fine, really big spaces, lockers and a good bed. Overall, its a nice place but it needs a new management and fixing small details.

Very strange place. They take out the beds every morning and move out the luggages every morning in the name of cleaning. They like to hold parties. Not interesting ones but noisy ones. Some staffs are nice, while some are annoying. Don't think I will go back. But, it is still one of the cheapest place you can find in Rome, and the location is good.

If you dont want to sleep I could recommend this hostel. Actually the hostel is good value for the money you pay. The location is nice, bathrooms are not really clean. But at nine oclock in the evening the staff turns on the music like in a club. All night is really noisy, drunk people talking very loudly in the hostel all night and I think the staff was involved. So better pay some Euros more and stay in a hostel were you can sleep after a long day in Rome.

Awesome staff and atmosphere. Changing the lockout to 11 to 5 would be much better given the party nature.

This is one of the best hostels in Rome: Great value for the money, great atmosphere, and a great place to meet some awesome people. The staff here was very friendly and helpful, and have made my stay here very enjoyable. I have stayed a quite a few hostels in Rome, and this place is definately one of the best. HIGHLY RECOMENDED.

It was a very lively place, and I liked that. The staff were fun and friendly, and I liked that. The lockout was quite long, but it was good for getting us out there to see Rome. The only thing I was a little confused by was that the beds in the rooms were moved around each day, so it wasn't clear which bed was whose upon everyone's return. Really, though, this is easy to take in one's stride what with the hostel's closeness to all the sites.

Well defo not the best hostel ive been to!worth to know before you go there: its close to vatican but quite far away from colloseum and the rest of the sights, every day you have to leave hostel between 10:00 am and 5:00pm cus its a cleaning time, small kitchen, every night sangria party which for longer stay may be annoying especially when u have to leave it for the whole day,u come back and there is a party,no wifii in the room, for one night ic you dont care its ok,for longer stay,hm...

Yes, this is definitely the most awesome hostel I stayed during my Italy trips. Every single guy here is great, from receptionists to guests. It's located just 5 minutes walk from Vatican and on a busy street with various stores. The room is clean, bathrooms are adequate and tidy. They have computers for guest as well as cozy common room with a PS3. Beside, you have a good kitchen and they even offer you a free coffee in the morning. You can easily talk to anyone here and absolutely feel home.

Staff didn't seem very organised. It didn't appear that bookings were recorded and they didn't seem to know who was sleeping where, though everyone was very nice. The bathrooms were often wet all over the ground and a bit dirty which wasn't great, otherwise everything was fine.

This was by far the best hostel i've ever stayed in, everything was good about it and i cant find anything to complain about. Its in a perfect location only 5 mins away from the Vatican and also close to the metro,. The hostel is perfeft for making new friends as the staff are all the time organising outings to bars and Friday is sangria night . Happy days hostel really makes u feel part of a family and i' d like to thank all the staff espetially tanury and justin as i had amazing 10 days

I stayed at happy days for a whole week and honestly this is the best bang for your buck. It is extremely well priced, location could not get better. You are steps away from the Vatican, and really close to spagna plaza, lots of shops and restaurants. The best part of the hostel was the staff, they were always checking if I was enjoying my stay at happy days. Although they do not provide breakfast, they explained me where I could eat for very cheap. Moreover, they invited me for lunch twice.
