Great hostel! Had everything you could look for in a hostel and free breakfast and dinner is a huge bonus. Only down side is that not every shower has hot water (so make sure you use one with a heater in the room).
Worst hostel I ever stayed in. It's ugly, the kitchen seems dirty, the rooms have no door locks or enough lockers for everyone, and the staff is not very available. The location is quite good though. You do get free pasta. But the place is actually quite expensive, so you don't expect to be woken up every morning because the staff is taking all the beds apart and chasing you out of the hostel!
The most dirty place in the world. Sorry to say that. The good location and kind stuff and security do not help. If the there no water in the shower and WC stinks. And also the bed are very old.
Very weird hostel. The people in the reception had very load music when we were checking in so we almost didnt hear what he said, and he was more occupied to change the music. And we needed to wait one hour to check in (til 18), even though the check in was 17. The beds didnt have any stairs to the top bed. We also met to guys who lived in a private room and when they came back from the city (after 17) all the laundry was in their room. Its no locks on the door to the rooms. Im wouldnt recommend
I really liked this hostel! I stayed only one night but was very funny! All the staffs are friendly and helpful! The location is quite good, In a street with a supermarket and many stores, it is very close to Vatican and other places, because we can walking around by food for almost all city!

The staff were very helpful and spoke great English. There was free pasta every evening and free pastries and coffee every morning, this was brilliant, the lockout was a bit annoying, but it meant you didn't sleep all day and you explored the city, would recommend!
Awesome hostel, includes breakfast and dinner! the staff is awesome and they encourage the people to meet! veeeeeery good, best place i've stayed
The staff is great and it's located right by the Vatican, but that's about all that's good here. The seven hour lockout is a bit ridiculous and the lack of wifi after midnight makes no sense. There aren't enough washrooms, there are no locks on the doors to the rooms and most of the lockers in my room were broken. On top of that, one person got bedbugs while I was there and I woke up to some other form of bug snacking on my shoulder.
Decent hostel but the 7 hour lockout is absolutely absurd
Depends on the luck. Some beds have bugs. And the staff knows they got them. I was ok first 2 nights and cover in bits on 3rd night(over20). First time I had problem since my travel. I wasn't the only one who had them. Staff is friendly. free Food at night, but not enough. The free drinks at night didn't happen. Line up for bathroom. Apart from the staff, there is nothing good about the place.. Lock out between 10 to 5. No wifi after mid night.
When we arrive, we were told that because of a gas leakage we could not stay here! we were sent to an other hostel who belongs to the same owner, in the other side of the city, close to the train station Termini. We chose happy days because it was close to a friend and we were very disappointed.

Terrible hostel. Wouldn't recommend it at all. Staff would wake up the costumers in the morning and ask us to leave the room and spend all day out, cause they would be 'cleaning'. Terrible experience
One of the best hostels ive probably stayed in for the price. Location is excellent 5 min walk from the vatican, staff are absolutely awesome bringing you brioche and espresso in bed if you want it, and its a great place to meet people. highly recommended

THIS IS THE ABSOLUTE WORST HOSTEL. The staff wakes you up in the morning several hours before the lockout even starts, and after the SEVEN HOUR lockout our beds weren't even made. As a female traveling it was extremely uncomfortable to have the male staff come into our bedroom and wake us up. Very invasive. Some girls had bed bugs and had to fight to get their money back. We left 2 days early and went to another place. Also it's possibly a crackhouse.
This place is a scam. We made reservations here and once we showed up we were told our room had “plumbing issues” and they moved us to skywalk hostel. The front office showed me “the room” (a random closet) so I “could see what was wrong”- as if we’re stupid. Turns out everyone I met at skywalk also booked happy days hostel. I suspect they intentionally overbook and then redistribute people to skywalk and maybe other hostels. This should be looked into. DONT STAY HERE OR YOU'RE SUPPORTING A SCAM
DO NOT BOOK THIS HOSTEL!This is one of the worst hostels I have ever stayed at. The staff are unhelpful, sometimes even rude. They would wake us up early in the morning and then remove our beds from the room (this is most probably because they do not have a proper permit for all the beds so would have to take them out in case an inspection came). Before 8:30am, as soon as I was back from the toilet my bed would be gone. also, they give no keys to the rooms. anyone can come and go as they please
Hostel is dirty and has a small bed bug infestation. The staff spray daily to prevent bed bugs but they really need to throw out everything to get rid of the bed bugs. The free breakfast and pasta are good if you are VERY hungry and not picky. The staff wakes you up at around 7A because there is a lock out from 9A-5P. Also, the staff dismantle the beds each morning, likely because they do not have a permit for all of the beds.
For the price we payed it was a great hostel, Alex is slightly crazy but in a good way, and all staff very helpful and friendly. Only weird thing is the lock out which gets annoying and they randomly switch you into different rooms. Still met some great people and had a great time, definitely recommend it!
I have been stole 8000 Euro here when i am taking a bath. cry cry cry. but i know i have no idea about it because it is a mess when i was in those days.
