Directions to Hostel Helvetia

FROM THE CHOPIN AIRPORT

Monday - Friday
Take 175 bus to UNIWERSYTET 02 stop.
When you leave a bus, turn back and go towards the Monument of Copernicus. Before you get it, turn left by KFC and go down Oboźna St. Turn right at the the third tiny junction into a quiet Sewerynow Street. Walk down it. After several steps you will see Hostel Helvetia's sign on your right (it's about 500 meters).


FROM THE CENTRAL RAILWAY STATION

Monday - Friday
Take 175 bus (the stop is next to the Marriott Hotel). For details see above.

Take 128 bus to NOWY ŚWIAT 53 stop
Take a bus from the stop next to the Marriott Hotel. When you get off the bus, walk down and turn left on the first pedestrian crossing (without traffic lights). Then turn right and cross Kopernika Str. Turn left and then immediately turn right into Bartoszewicza Street. After 30 meters take the first left - Sewerynow Street. You should see the Hostel Helvetia's sign on your left soon.

Take 444 bus to NOWY ŚWIAT 53 stop
Take a bus from the stop situated on the level of the main hall, next to the Złote Tarasy shopping centre. When you get off the bus, walk down and turn left on the first pedestrian crossing (without traffic lights). Then turn right and cross Kopernika Str. Turn left and then immediately turn right into Bartoszewicza Street. After 30 meters take the first left - Sewerynow Street. You should see the Hostel Helvetia's sign on your left soon.

CAUTION!
Please notice that during the weekends the lines: 175 and 128 change their routes.
To reach the Hostel you have to get off on the POWSTAŃC�W WARSZAWY 02 bus stop.
When you exit a bus, turn right into Swietokrzyska Str, walk down to the junction with Nowy Świat St. Go ahead and turn left on the first pedestrian crossing (without traffic lights). Then turn right and cross Kopernika Str. Turn left and then immediately turn right into Bartoszewicza Street. After 30 meters take the first left - Sewerynow Street. You should see the Hostel Helvetia's sign on your left soon.

Couple of tips:

The best way to buy a ticket is to find a ticket machine. You can also buy it at newsagents', usually situated near to the bus stops.
Ask for a single fare ticket (bilet jednorazowy), which entitles to a journey on one vehicle. Don't forget to validate it on a bus.
Do not take 'no-name' taxis that have only word 'Taxi' in their logo to avoid being cheated.
Take only these ones which have also the name of a company, for example:
Ele Taxi (+48 22 811 11 11),
Korpo Taxi (+48 22 561 91 00)
Sawa Taxi (+48 22 644 44 44) and so on....
If you arrive by car, you can park it in the street in the front of the Hostel. Pay in the parking meters from Monday till Friday between 8am and 6pm (3 PLN/hour)
