Nice clean hostel with really friendly staff. Lockers to store your valuables in and a funky kitchen to cook food. However the main door was left unlocked after the receptionist left one evening and a random man walked into the hostel which was a little scary as we were the only other guests there and couldn't lock our room door! Also it is on the 5th floor and the 133 steps can get a little tiring after a while..

This hostel was brilliant! It was towards the end of season so staff weren't around much, but they left keys for us and let us stay most of the day after check out before a bus to Split. Nice part of town, right by the sea and sea organ...trust me when I say catch a sunset. There is a decent kitchen to cook in and would recommend the restaurant bruschetta across the way. It's about 20-25 minutes to walk from the main bus station. Hope you all like steps!!

A quiet hostel good for a couple of nights stay. The staff were helpful and friendly and the hostel was very well located, though the stairs up to the 5th floor (no lift) were a bit of a climb. The ladies' showers weren't very practical, no place to put your clothes or towel while you were showering. It also looked like there was quit a bit of mold and there was a small gap in the doors that wouldn't close so water got all over the floor. The sinks in the bathroom didn't drain very well.

Hostel was okay! Great location, in walking distance of all the things to see in the old town. Yes, there are 5 flights of stairs, but it wasn't really an issue. Place was clean, and kitchen was good. However, showers in female bathroom had nowhere to hang stuff and was only a curtain round it rather than being in an actual cubicle. Bedrooms were good, beds comfy, and massive lockers which you could easily fit all your stuff in. Just be aware that smoking is allowed in the kitchen.

One of the best hotels I've ever stayed at. Super well located (by the sea, what else do you need), with markets and main attractions around. 20 minute walk from central bus station. Staff was super helpful and nice. Facilites and bed linen were pretty clean. Would definitely recommend and stay there again.

I was stunned that the hostel took extra charge for a towel since many places a towel is included in the price. SECOND thing was that the hospitality attitude was shifting from one receptionist to another. THIRD in every bedroom there was a sign "NO SMOKING"...but two of the receptionists were smoking in the kitchen area which resulted in smoke smell at the hostel. FOURTH I returned home very sick (lungs) since I was affected by two receptionists that were VERY sick; sore throaty/lungs

Hostel Home is a cute little hostel well located in Zadar. Almost everything could be reached by feet and the hostel itself was very well equipped with a kitchen, air-condition and even a computer. Loved our stay!

The hostel was okay - good location. The whole hostel is inside an apartment so it's quite small. It was noisy at night and the air con didn't work so it was hard to sleep. The staff were helpful with maps and ideas of things to see and do. If I was visiting Zadar again I'd look for a different place to stay because the facilities were small and felt a bit dirty.

Location is ideal. Once you've scaled the five floors (they're big floors), you reach the top floor of the building with a view back over the city. Coming out of the hostel, you are right by the water's edge for watching the beautiful sunset. Beds are fine, separate male and female bathrooms clean.

Most important, DO NOT UNDERESTIMATE the six floors you will have to climb in order to reach it. There is no elevator. The location is good. One recepcionist was excellent for us and the other didn't know too much or gave wrong information. Quite noisy at night to sleep because of street bars. Good facilities, nice kitchen, clean.

Well located in the center. 20min from the bus station. 4 floors to walk. Would be nice if there was something where to hang clothes in the bathroom.

A good place to rest your head although you'll need a few beers in you to sleep through the street noise, not a major problem though.

Despite the hostel being up 5 flights of stairs I would highly recommend this cute little hostel. The hostel was bright and modern and the staff were really nice to let us leave our bags in the hostel until 7pm on the day we checked out.

Great hostel with nice staff. But they should add more showers!
