I loved this Hostel, it really worth every penny! I do not hesitate to recommend it to everybody because not only has a great location in Guadalajara, near to many interesting places and nice bars and cafes, but also the atmosphere is awesome. The staff is always keen to help you with everything that you might need for having an unforgettable experience at Guadalajara. The rooms and bed are nice and clean as well as the toilets. I´d love to come back there in future. Congrats Hospedarte Hostel!!

I really enjoyed staying there. Despite it is not located at downtown, it is not far from main things to do and staff was great. The breakfast was only ok, but I felt safety there and all the people was very friendly.

Character: i didn´t notice any Security: no lockers Location: excellent. the centre is very quiet at night and this place is not there. Staff: couldn´t answer a simple questions about where to go for a fun time one evening. Fun: The hostel has a pseudo-bar, but we didn´t go there, and only noticed people there 1 night of the 3 we stayed. Cleanliness: looked clean but in our private room the bed was pathetic. No pillow slips, comforter not washed, mattress sheet stained...etc...

Hi there, Thank you for your review! I am glad that you liked the location at least. In our Private Rooms, you are the only one who has access to enter, that is why there are not lockers in Privates, there is a Security box at the front desk, the service is for FREE! Your feedback sounds rare for me because usually we receive high marks for our Staff service, cleanliness and fun. Anyway we will try to do better on these points. Kind regards,

I stayed in this hostel for 6 nights during the Panamerican Games and had the time of my life! The location cannot be beaten, right off Av. Chapultapec which is the nightlife hub of the city. The staff is really friendly and helpful, and the owners do their best to ensure everyone is enjoying their stay. Spacious dorms, good breakfast and interesting common areas. A few minor adjustments to the toilet/shower area can make this one of the best hostels in the world. Suerte!

The hostel itself is very nice, although it's a 30-35min walk from the city centre. The area where it is is very nice and feels very secure, but it's still a bit far from the main attractions. The staff where really friendly and the rooms nice (no air conditioning in mine though). My shower had no hot water either (the 3 bed room on the front of the hostel) but I always forgot to inform them, so I don't know how quickly the problem would have been solved. basic but good breakfast.

Thank you for the feedback , our location has a lot going for it (biking distance to many of the main sites in town, like 15 minutes from the Cathedral ), we are where the nightlife is raging (e.g.,Chapultepec Ave.) Unfortunately, in Guadalajara, you have to choose which is most important… We have another location in downtown! check it out next time! I am sorry you had trouble with the hot water in the shower. More than likely, you had trouble finding the "hot" water setting. We will try to communicate this better to our guests so they know and can enjoy hot showers. Thank you for telling us about your difficulties. -Gerardo Estrada / General Manager HI Hospedarte Hostel Chapultepec

Staff know their stuff well, friendly and helpful. Location is not too far away from Central and easily accessed with buses, Hence the place is out of the hustle bustles & very relaxing (think of the hammock & the beer garden). Probably one of the best hostels I've been to that've made me feel so much at home. A BIG thank you to Luis, Citrale, Emma, Araef & the others - keep up the good work =)

Very awesome hostel. Great location and VERY helpful staff members. The hostel was also clean, however, I did get some bed bug bites all over my body. I reached out the hostel manager and he offered me some store credit to the hostel bar. Overall a good experience except for the bed bug bites that I had to deal with for a few days...

Owner Comment (Show)
Hi Ildrich! thanks for your feedback about the location, helpfull staff and cleanliness of the hostel despite the discomfort you had. As we mentioned to you, it's common to confuse mosquito bites with bug beds, the main difference is mosquito bites don't last nearly as long as bed bug bites, like was your case! Contrary to bed bugs bites which persist for weeks! Mosquitos are frequent in the city during this season. As was our commitment to you, we check all your bed linen and the mattress but there was nothing of bug beds. Fortunately we have never had this problem. See ya next time!
