Clean and superb location, a perfect value for money, I stayed in a female dorm, paying only 13 dollar and I've got a lot of free services! I've got my bed with free bed linen and towel (in a beautiful dorm with huge lockers and a nice balcony), a buffet continental breakfast, free bike service to take a ride for the city, unlimited internet browsing, useful tourist information and the chance to meet another travelers from different countries, reserve in advance specially for private rooms...

Internet still only works about 90% of the time. Breakfast is quite inadequate. Everything else is pretty good.

Excellent staff and location. The street outside is crazy noisy, but I didn't mind. Room was wonderful, with private balcony, coffee table and chairs, nightlights. The wifi worked about 80-90% of the time, I believe it was someone else hogging all the bandwidth, the staff said he would look into it. In the shared men's bathroom, 1 of 2 showers and 1 of 3 toilets are broken... it's inconvenient and I hope they're fixed soon. It'd also be much better to accept credit card.

Very nice and helpful staff. Wifi works only about 80-90% of the time so far. Clean well-built rooms. No shared bathrooms.

It is nice to have the consistency of Hosteling International wherever you go. This hostel is located in a nice building in the center of Guadalajara. It is near to the plazas, the main cathedral and the gigantic market. If you are expecting it to be near to the night-life you would be better off staying at Hostel Tequila.

The staff were all excellent, friendly, and helpful with every question or need for directions to places, and buses or taxis to take. They smile genuinely and are fun to talk to and be around. My stay was great and the hostel is in an good location as a central base to visit other parts of the city. The hostel was kept clean. I would recommend this hostel to anyone traveling to Guadalajara. Your website is great too as it has easy directions to get from the airport by bus or taxi.

The Hostel is great, people are great and the location and building are excellent. If it was cleaner and better bathrooms, it would be perfect!

Very central, very nice house, very friendly staff! The sheets were not really perfectly clean and it was a bit noisy at night but I guess that adds to the fun if you are not as crazy tired as we were!

Very helpful and nice staff, even though we came late at night. We stayed at low season so I don't know about the fun at high season.

I am person who travels 50% of the year due to my photographic work so I´ve been in many Hostels around Mexico. Hostel Guadalajara Centro was the best hostel I stayed in while visiting Mexico!!! It was extremely clean, full of life, very central and the staff were very helpful... It was great to have balcony in the room when this summer is very hot! I was only in for one night, but it seemed like a cool place to spend more time! Would definitely stay again next time I'm in Guadalajara!

My girlfriend and I booked two nights but cancelled the 2nd one shortly after arrival. Why? 1. We booked a double room, but were put in dorm. 2. The linen was not clean: the sheets were blood or coffee-stained and a pillow case had hairs on it. 3. No hot water in shower. The hostel is clearly understaffed. I'm suspicious about the reviews, please note that all were written by first-time reviewers. I have stayed in hostels around the world, this one is not world-class. Staff were kind & helpful.

My brother originally booked us in for 1 week and I stayed for 7 weeks total! The staff are so good and if you need anything they have a lot of knowledge! The people I met there were really cool and the location is AMAZING. It's right in the centre of downtown and although some people say it's not safe it's NOT true! It's fine to walk round at night! The hostel is probably the cleanest I've ever stayed in! There is a massive kitchen that has decent equipment! 10/10. I will definately go back!

I stayed in this hostel for one week and enjoyed it really. It's very close to the historic city center and Chapultepec is within a 30-40 mins walk. Breakfast is not that big but ok for a hostel.

The hostel should update all the information that it is presenting on the website. They were not accepting credit cards although they were saying the opposite plus there was no possibility to park in front of the hostel (all the parking lot is belonging to the private companies) and yet again they mentioned that it is possible to park on the street. And finally, the guy working there was extremely rude and should change his attitude when talking to clients! Cheers!
