We enjoyed the international atmosphere and the included breakfast. The rooms were clean and the staff friendly.

A little bit strange place. Just imagine: Lots of showers/ sinks. Not a single piece of soap. Not a single paper towel. Water boiler. Only 2 cups nearby with no washing facilities at all. Will you use this cup after somebody? Shower works exactly as Fire Brigade water gun - water coming with too much force causing a lot of drizzle. There's a toilet paper in the toilet cabin. Unbelievable! Breakfast is poor. Only bread, flakes, milk and tea. Oh, I forgot: 1-2 kinds of sausage and some cheese.

I didn't necessarily enjoy my stay at the hostel. I didn't like the atmosphere, the staff was not that friendly or helpful and the private room they put me on wasn't properly cleaned and it smelled.

Although this hostel is fairly far out of the city, I think it's worth the trip. It was very clean and our 6 bed dorm was big enough. The staff are very helpful. The breakfast is very good for a free breakfast. The only proper complaint is that the showers are horrible. You have to push a button every minute to keep the water running, and the flow is very violent, almost painful. But other than that it is not a bad hostel, and is a good place to stay on a budget.

This hostel was wonderful! Very cheap and each dormitory has its own bathroom. It's also kept very clean. The only problem is that the location is quite inconvenient, as it is the last stop on the Vienna U4, and from there you have to walk some distance (including a large uphill portion) in order to get to the hostel.

Location is a 10 minute metro ride into the city Center. Huge hostel with great common areas indoor and out. few plug ins. Free breaky. Has bug problems, tons of dead flys all over the sinks, and thousands of ants crawling out of a wall in the reception. Decent but far from town

Nice hostel, which is reasonably cheap compared to others in and around Vienna. Easy access into Vienna via the U-Bahn station nearby. Can be difficult to meet other travellers as the hostel is so large.

On arrival I was told i had an 'upgrade' to a smaller room where i was the only inhabitant. As a 20 something year old traveler there was no atmosphere and too many families, school groups and and older couples. Saying that once i found others my own age things brightened up.

Boring. Works as a place to sleep, but has a dreadful feeling of Christian Summer Camp, with accordingly strict rules. Is a large building on the absolute outskirts of Vienna. Would strongly recommend seeking out other accommodation if you're a backpacker wishing to explore the city!

The Hutteldorf hostel was simple, clean and spacious, with helpful staff, good parking and space to relax. the location is good being at the end of one of the metro lines to Vienna (with a station of the same name) make the trip into Vienna simple for a none speaking foreigner like me!

A little hard to find as it looks like a block of council flats but was happy staying here. Breakfast was pleasant, nice sized rooms that felt like a college sharing house almost. Good transport to the city centre

Soap is needed in the bathroom for washing hands. Travelers do not normally carry hand soap.

Positive: very very good breakfast, staff and atmosphere. Negative: 10 km from the centre (you have to spend at least 4,40 euros per day at transport to go and comeback), no kitchen or even a fridge, what is terrible for low cost travelers, and a lot of mosquitos.

There were ants in the bathroom. The room was to small. It was a 20 minute drive from the center. Unfortunately not worth the money

Friendly staff, everybody speaks English, clean rooms and bathroom. Great buffet for breakfast. Secure car park(free) lockers(1Euro ) and clean bedding (free) are provided. Although the hostel is located in the outskirt of Vienna, the town centre is in 20 minutes by the underground train. Reception open for 24 hours.

It was clean and safe and had a good friendly atmosphere. It's in a quiet part of the city so easy to sleep. As for location it is a bit further away but it takes 15 mins by ubahn so it's not bad at all.

I really enjoyed my stay here. The staff were friendly, it was lovely to be slightly outside of the city centre but still close.

When I stayed at Hostel Hutteldorf, my friend fell ill with laryngitis. The staff were unbelievably helpful. We were only staying for one night, which was a Sunday. They called an emergency doctor out for us, and tried their absolute best to aid with the communication between us and the doctors - I wasn't taught the word for tonsils during A Level German! Thank you so much for being so friendly and accommodating. We really enjoyed our stay regardless of its brevity.
