This hostel is WAAAAAY outside of Vienna. It's at least a 20-minute ride on the subway to get to the Karlsplatz. The 20-person mixed dorm was clean but a bit stuffy and not air conditioned. Definitely no hostel atmosphere whatsoever. It was just a bed. There were some older-than-40-year-old men staying in the dormitory area, which was weird. Free, good breakfast with the price of the room was a plus.

A very basic hostel. Located near a metro station. The WiFi was good. The cleaning staff were a bit intrusive even though our room was a private ensuite. Also they didn't speak english.

Absolutely phenomenal hostel. Clean, friendly service.

I would say that I felt secure in this place, there is a lot of young people staying there and the atmosphere is always good. Clean and safe. Is not near the best places to visit but there is a station near (5 min. walking). I recommend it.

Just lower your expectations and this hostel is fine. Just like everyone has said, it's far from the city, feels like dorms at boot camp, there aren't enough plugs, the shower only turns on for 5 seconds, and the staff is awkward and unfriendly. But it is a safe place to stay with no serious problems.

Too far from city. If it were priced lower the distance wouldn't matter as much. The staff was not friendly at all. They gave us the key and told us what floor the room was on. When we got to the room we realized there were no sheets on the bed. So we went back down and asked. We were rudely pointed to a basket full of sheets. Yet no mention of that basket was given to us when we arrived. Bathrooms have no soap to wash hands. Kitchen has no plates or utensils. Will not recommend this place.

fuckinf staf

Very clean but no atmosphere at all. Lots of groups and the whole place feels like an old military camp.

its a bit far away from the center of city but you can get there easily at the end of the U4 metro.

If you've got a car, there is free onsite parking and a short walk to the train which makes visiting Vienna easy. There are no electric sockets in the bathroom areas and I didn't like to disturb other guests early in the morning in the room with the sockets there. Clearly aimed at visiting student groups etc.

Worth the money, because of very good and rich breakfast buffet. Quiet location. 20-bed room is divided in small and narrow 4-bed rooms and this can be problem for travellers with big backpacks. Only one electrical socket in room.

Very nice place for short stay. Good connection, and nice location.

Really far from city center but you can reach by metro. room was clean and bathroom also clean but not really just ok. staff was helpful. but one things i don't like the plug in the room only 1 that I see and we need to go to common room to charge

Nice hostel. The rooms are really big and spacious, bathrooms are always clean, friendly staff, great WiFi connection and the breakfast buffet is basic but nice (cornflakes, yoghurt, muesli, bread, Nuttela, cheese and ham). The only downfalls are the location and the showers. Although it is only a 10 minute walk from the train station, it still means you have to pay to get into the city. The showers are pretty bad; there are no shower heads so the water literally sprays out the pipe!

Stayed here for almost a week (in a 4-person room) and was very impressed. Very clean, fantastic rooms, excellent security, decent breakfast, free wifi, best price. At one point the lamp over my bed stopped working and it was fixed the very next morning. The main negative is that it's a 30-40 minute commute from the city centre and feels like a large dormitory building rather than a social hostel. Totally suited my needs, but someone looking for a social atmosphere won't enjoy it here.

Very far away from the city center, very sterile environment, the showers only turn on for 5 seconds and there's no soap in the bathroom. There was a lot of buisness travelers and school groups, not conducive at all to solo travelers

- Only one socket in 6bed dorm! You need to wait in a queue or get under you bed to unplug the lamp. - The toliet paper only in the bathroom downstairs. Toliets paper on the 1st and 2nd floor only in the morning and only if you're lucky. - The soap is also only next to the reception. If you want to clean hands after using toliet on your floor, it's impossible. - Dirt on the lamp and under the bed. Dead insects inside ceiling lamp. - More like cheap hotel than backpacking hostel, no atmosphere.

The room was clean and size-appropriate for 6 people, however, there was only one power socket where we can charge our devices, good thing, we brought our own extension cord. Maybe it would be better if the hostel offered the extension cords for those who don't have one. We liked that even though it was not too close to the center, it was well connected by metro and bus. we also appreciated that there was fast wifi access, it made planning our day easier.

You have a reaallly good thing there. However, the location is not the best but one can easily get there by metro.
