Hostel too expensive for the quality offered. We spent two nights in a private room (reasonable), and one night in a dormitory overcrouded (10 beds in too small room)

É um bom hostel, bem localizado e com funcionários muito atenciosos, porém falta investimento na conservação, limpeza e cuidados com os quartos, apesar do valor da diária não ser um tanto "salgado".

This is one of the worst hostels i've stayed in. It was super dirty, filled with black mold and smelled like death. Sheets were stained first night, we had to complain about it to get a new set. Funny thing is they took a deposit from us for the sheets....The place was old and from our perspective, too expensive for what it had to offer.

Very nice staff. They are all lovely people, even those who do maintenance and cleanliness. They are a very nice teamwork. The breakfast and cleanliness were very good. The relaxing atmosphere of the hostel and the outdoor common places were very appreciated. Congratulations!

Hostel Ibirapita is in La Paloma, Uruguay, which is, in our opinion, the prettiest town on the Atlantic coast. This is our second stay at this hostel and both times, our one day booking stretched into two weeks! After travelling from the cold Winter of Canada, this is a wonderful haven for us. The owners and staff are fantastic, there is lots of space to chill and we have met great people here and have made good friends. Be prepared for contrasts - tranquillity and fiesta!

Tried to cancel our booking 24 hours in advance via email and 10+ phonecalls but no reply from either. Decided to turn up for 1 night so we wouldn't get charged. During our stay the lady at reception replied to our email whilst we were sitting there saying we must contact the hostel owner to cancel - very odd as she already knew my name! Bed sheets were covered in hair and horrible stains (we are used to usual hostel standard but this was bad), hot water ran out after 30 seconds - v.cold shower
