We had a nice, large private room here, but the price still seemed a bit steep, especially since it didn't include breakfast. It was close to the Zocolo in a residential area.

We only stayed here one night because the room that we got (one for 4 people) was right next to the road. It had a cute little balcony, but no other ventilation. It was warm so we had to keep the balcony door open, which meant we heard EVERYTHING outside and none of us were able to sleep very well. The beds themselves were okay, but the noise level was horrible--dogs barking, loud vehicles, people talking. Also, there were only two shared bathrooms with showers.

Our time at Hostel Inn was great! The front desk receptionists were really helpful and nice. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. Location is perfect, just a few blocks from the main cathedral. No breakfast, but that\'s ok. Also no tv but it\'s fine because you\'ll want to be out on the town anyways. Overall, nice play to stay and well worth the price.

Me and my parents stayed here for a couple nights, really have nothing to complain about but location, it's a bit far from the city center (well, Guanajuato is a small town, so actually it only takes about 10 minutes to get to where everything takes place.. ) Good thing is that it's a quiet area so don't be worried about noisy streets. The double bed private room is awesome! it's got a particular terrace so if you come with your couple, definitely try to get that one!

I think the Hostel was great, although the last night there was some kind of party in the kitchen, with some young people, who kept us awake, so we had to go to the front desk to ask them to quiet them down, which happened after about 20 minutes, although someone slept on the sofa in the kitchen. it was coming up to Semana Santa. On the whole, you have a great hostel for the money. Thanks

My only comment is to not stay in the room next to the front street. I was awoken at 3:30 am by a man claiming he lost his key. He was very loud. The night attendant did not let him in and he did a great job to diffuse the situation. Unfortunately, since I was near the door, I heard it all and did not get back to sleep for an hour. Hostals are great when you have people respecting other people but one person can ruin it for everyone.

I really like this hostel...It's clean, nice folks working there, quiet and not far from the jardin. It's got a nice patio area too. It's a great value for the money

I booked a 6-bed dorm, but they put me in their 8-bed dorm. A girl in the 8-bed dorm said the same thing happened to her. I spoke to the staff, and they said the 6-bed dorm was full and there was nothing they could do. So be warned, they don't take your Hostel World reservation very seriously. Beds were very creaky. Bad mattresses. No breakfast. If I came back to San Miguel, I would stay in one of the other (more conveniently located) hostels. This one doesn't seem very professional.

Dont expect to meet fellow backpackers at Hostel Inn. It is more likely that you will meet local families (from grandpa to the 1 year old kids) than alike travellers. Dont be surprised if you wake up with the sound of a 4 year old running and laughing at the corridor. The place should be renamed to "Posada" Inn rather than "Hostel Inn". Common areas are almost inexistent. The good thing? Rooms are super nice and clean, and the staff is great. Joshua was super helpful.

Excellent location near everything but not too close so not noisy. Clean place and courteous service. Staff was wonderful and let me use my Spanish which was really appreciated!

Pros: comfortable beds, hot shower, clean, nice staff, nice outdoor area for lounging, great location walking distance to the jardin but not too close, good wi-fi Cons: Sound travels very easily, some rooms have windows that are on the hallway so you can hear everyone walking by, cold at night (visited in december), shower door was broken All in all a good value for the price.
