Overall I enjoyed my stay here. The facility has everything you need and tours are made easily available. Most staff were friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. However I was sexually harassed by one staff member who had also been drinking while staffing the facility.

One of the worst and dirtiest hostels iv stayed at in South America and iv stayed in some real sh1t holes ! Hahaha seriously bad the woman on the desk was nice but oblivious to the Absolute state of the place rewashing polistirine cups for breakfast dirty and cracked ..... Il say no more ...

We enjoyed our stay and the staff was always really nice and helpful. However, we found a bit annoying having loud music all day round -actually we had to tell the receptionist to stop it when it was already 12 in the night! Then, the day after, somebody left the door of the dorm opened and the receptionist played loud music again as early as 7am... So, good value for money, nice environment, good breakfast and kind staff, but too noisy.

The hostel is not too clean and the dorms very cramped beds. There is no wifi signal at all on the first floor, you need to sit on the stairs to receive it. The common area is nice and has wifi. I cannot recommend the 8 bed dorm, it is right next to the kitchen and very small. The 9 bed dorm is fine. Staff is nice and tries to help.

The hostel is underepair and they never clean the bathrooms. It was the dirtiest hostel I ever been.

My girlfriend and I enjoyed our stay in this ridiculous hostel, for all of it's bad qualities it never failed to entertain us. Luckily we don't care so much about cleanliness, but our only real turn off was when we arrived back one afternoon to find our private room open and the staff keys to all the rooms sitting unattended on the terrace.

Had an amazing time at Campo Base! Nice place and very kind staff, tours are pretty cool too.

It was very dirty and crampted. We were supposed to stay 3 nights, but left after 1 night. We would not reccommend staying there.

We're sorry that you couldn't stay longer with us so you can know all our services and have a better experience. Good trip!

After an unrelated incident, this place just made our stay in Mendoza even worse. Cold showers, bedroom doors that don't open properly, odd smell of gas everywhere, no atmosphere, only 1 socket in the room. Add to that staff who misled us regarding tours and didn't warn us about bike tours. And to top it off, nearly missing the bus as taxi they called was 20mins late! Only good thing I can say is they had good WiFi.

Helen, we're sorry about your incident but that's why the staff always recommends to buy the tours instead of going on your own. We hope you have better luck in your next trips.

Friendly staff & perfect location. Don't stay in the 8-bed dorm...it felt like a cramped windowless closet! The 9-bed is also cramped, but it's in the back of the hostel and has some windows, so it was ok.

Really helpful staff, receptionist showed us exactly where to go. Really good location and fun.

Pros: good breakfast, good facilities, location, cost-benefit, staff, many activities offered Cons: lack of outlets in the dorms, and bit of dust in the dorms
