The staff members, while friendly and generally helpful, seem too concerned with promoting the activities sponsored by Hostelling International, rather than giving people the best advice pertaining to the city of Mendoza. When we asked various members of the staff what to do on Sunday, they replied that there was little to do besides the horseback riding (through Hostelling International) because everything was closed, despite the fact that Sunday was the last day of a beer festival.The staff members, while friendly and generally helpful, seem too concerned with promoting the activities sponsored by Hostelling International, rather than giving people the best advice pertaining to the city of Mendoza. Worst problems are the location and the beds. It is outside the city center. You can walk there during the day, but probably not at night. And the beds are not good. Spend a couple dollars more and stay at a hostal with decent beds in a more central location. Thatīs what I did and I am very happy with it.Worst problems are the location and the beds. The beds and pillows are not good. Breackfast so so. Bathroom terrible!!! Nice people and staff. Good trips and partys. I wouldnt reccomend this hostel. The staff said we hadnt paid when we had. The shower wasnt working when we arrived. The bar wasnt open however you were not allowed to bring your own alcohol in. There isnt really anywhere to chill out, just a few leather couches in the corner which isnt enough for a hostel of that size.
The trips offered were a little overpriced and the staff werent overly helpful with information about using other companies.

I booked first for three persons and then i changed it booking a four persons room. The first time i booked, i paid USD 5,07 and then i paid USD 4,02. Hostel didnt reconoce me both payments. great staff, everyone speaks english, nice location, good travel advice, room was a bit cold but clean and with locker. They didn't had my reservation and there was no one at the busstation to pick-up as the say to provide it for free if u book on hworld. maybe there was a problem with there mail system. but it's a nice hostel, would choose it again!great staff, everyone speaks english, nice location, good travel advice, room was a bit cold but clean and with locker.
