The hostel is in a beautiful place and the staff is really welcoming and helpful. The only thing that could be a problem is that the hostel is 7 km (more than 1h walking distance) from Uspallata and there are not too many busses passing during the day. Except this, I has a really nice stay!

very far away from town, like an hour and a half walk. beautiful area though, they offer lots of tours, so if you´re interested in hiking, horseback riding and all of that, stay there! It was very quiet while I was there, but I guess it is very nice when there´s loads of people. beds are good, breakfast good, and Gabriel will help you with anything.

Very nice place in the middle of the mountains. Quite far from town (about 2 hours by foot, but buses run regularly). The staff is nice and helpful. We loved the full day horseback tour, thank you Elbio!!! Very recomendable!

I don't want to be too negative...but it wasn't great when we were there. Lack.of atmosphere and a bit unkempt.

Nice little hostel in the middle of nowhere. Make sure you ask the bus driver to stop at the hostel. Kitchen is very basic and it can be pretty cold in the hostel, but overall the landscapes and surroundings make it really worth to stay here.

Very nice people!! we arrived very late from Chile, at 1:30 in the morning, and they were waiting for us! and next day, we had a very good breakfast with the imposing mountains as landscape.

I loved the location of hostel Internacional Uspallata. Placed in a beautiful nature with unforgettable surroundings. There was a great atmosphere too and the stuff made everything possible that we wished. We even made "asado" and had lot of fun.

Not quite the tranquil haven as its on the main road heading to Chile but well located for puente del inca and Aconcagua national park. Not sure about the stream to swim in, like brown treacle to me but maybe it was the time of year?!

We stayed in a drom the first night and a dbl private room the second night. both were basic but clean. showers were hot but not that powerful but acceptable. The manager was very nice and friendly and helpful and made a decent and reasonable dinner the first night. breakfast was also good for hostel standards. You are in the middle of no where so if you want that then this is the place for you (the nearest shop is a good 30 mins walk away with no much supplies)
