We really enjoy our stay at Intenational Point! The view from the dorms are just amazing! I would definitely recommend it for those who want to have this wonderful and chilling view from Lago Argentino from the beginning of the day!

It is a nice place... Great breakfast! Clean room and bathroom... Great view of the nature! The only thing I did not like is that I did not receive any reply from them... I do not know how my emails got ignored!

Fantastic hostel. Greeted very courteously in the early hours after a long bus journey. Booked a dorm but got the room to ourselves for all three nights. Clean, comfortable room with en-suite. Breakfast was delicious and it was a beautiful setting overlooking the Andes. The excursion to Perito Moreno was amazing (booked through the hostel). I would absolutely recommend staying here and big thanks to Mattias for being so helpful and making it a great stay in El Calafate. Will definitely be back!

Nothing special about this place. No lockers or security for things. Heater was full blast in room, gross hot! We also gave the proper amount of notice to leave a day early and they took our deposit anyway, and were very rude about it. One person helped with booking tour, and was very nice! Amazing breakfast with fresh croissants.

Cash is king in some places, but it was a bit surprising to be able to book/reserve with a credit card, then have to pay in cash. Also, the directions to the hostel could be a bit better. We arrived to the bus station after dark, and ended up climbing up some random dirt path to get to the hostel around it's backside.

A converted hotel, this hostel has an amazing view and great facilities, but it really lacks the character of other hostels. The staff is helpful, but overall I thought the place was boring. Great breakfast though!

Great hostel! Very clean and the staff is wonderful. It is definitely more like a hotel than a hostel. The breakfast is really good and the staff is great with helping you book tours. Stay here if you go to El Calafate!!

Great hostel! I ended up staying a couple of extra nights! Staff were really helful with information and booking tours etc. Breakfast was great, really lovely view, set up on the hill overlooking the lake & valley. I loved the location up on the hill, close enough to town, and far enough that you don't hear anything! The only thing I can recommend (being really picky here) is I found the heating in the rooms too hot & stuffy, other than that I really enjoyed my stay! Thanks guys

Told myself that I really need to check this place out but reservations were so full that I’d to push my El Calafate trip just to get in & I am glad I took the risk! This hostel simply mind blowing, arguably the best in Argentina. Stayed in dorm for 1 night & 2 in private. They’ve e cleanest, whitest & best smelling bed sheets ever! Firm pillows & mattress. Warm breakfast with nice service & view!! Would appreciate if they keep a multinational adaptor though, as I couldn’t get one for charging.

Very nice hostel! Having breakfast or just relaxing in the lounge with a fantastic view on the lake is something you don't get everywhere... Staff is great, rooms are nice. Perfect place to stay in El Calafate.

Fantastic location on the hill. Great breakfast in a very nice dining room with a good view because of all the windows! :-)

Great hostel, really nice, big and clean. The only thing I missed were lockers and kitchen to cook something quick.

I came to International Hostel Point later than 20.30, when the only exchange service in the town has already closed. Since their website untruely states they accept cards and exchange money, I felt decieved. They do exchange, however, only American dollars and Euros. Not Chilean Pesos. In fact, when I said that the staff could only comment that they were Argentinian and enemies of Chile. At 11:45 at night I was kicked out, didn't get my 10% back and was left to find a place on my own.

I don't know if this is a trend, but this was the 2nd hostel I stayed during my trip which feels too much like a hotel, except for the fact you share the room with other people. There are pros and cons in that: if you don't mind the lack of atmosphere (I do), the rooms are nice and big, the breakfast was probably the best I had, and the bathroom was clean and had towels and soap. One thing that really bothered me was there were no lockers in my room (a 5 bed shared dorm).
