If i was to sum up hostel ka'beh in one word it would be: personable. The staff was so friendly and made you feel very welcome! I would highly recommend this hostel, especially on a Tuesday night, which features tequila jenga and the optional pool party at one of Cancuns rowdy clubs.

Great hostel with character. Staff always really friendly. Owner, David was super helpful and helped us with our trips and future planning for our trip. Central location in Cancun. Beach short bus ride away.Really enjoyed my stay here. Lots of cheap food in area. Something on every night in hostel. Extended stay cos we really liked it here! While in Cancun, do whale sharks, its awesome!

Booked for one night originally but ended up staying for 3. Met some awesome people who we are now hoping to continue our travels with. Would definitely recommend. Dave, the owner of the hostel is very friendly, helpful and knowledgable and hangs out and chats with everybody. He can speak English, Spanish and French fluently so this makes it very easy for new people turning up for their stay. The common area is the best we have seen with tables, hammocks and a small bar, all outside.

Awesome hostel, small.. in a good way everyones very friendly and wants to hangout together. Big buck beds! cruisey vibe, awesome hammocks. `Aircon goes on at night for when your sleeping. Only thing is you gotta get the bus to the beach which takes about 15mins, but its cheaps and not that bad. Just sucks cos its so hot! but all over such a cool hostel and ive stayed in HEAPS!

Excellent staff - the owner speaks fluent English, Spanish, and French. Always a different communal event in the evening, from Guacamole Night to Tequila Jenga. There's only 20 beds, so it feels much more intimate and lets you get to know the others in the hostel much easier. If Hostelworld says they're full, try calling anyway; there's 6 outdoor hammocks they sell when the beds are full. 5 minute walk from grocery store, bus stop, souvenir shopping, laundry, and a plaza full of food vendors.

great place; highly recommended. breakfast is 'make your own,' with ingredients provided. be sure to try both wifi access points: sometimes one is faster than the other.

I had a fantastic stay here and it was made that way predominantly because of the friendly and enthusiastic staff. If you are staying in Cancun and don't wish to do the all inclusive resort style vacation, Hostel Kabeh is definitely an excellent choice! They have events every night, options for more travel and a very welcoming atmosphere.

Pro: Very good atmosphere, very helpful/friendly and integrating staff, perfect location 5min from ADO bus terminal, very clean, air condition in rooms, daily offered activities at night, from time to time delicious free Guacamole or BBQ at night for everyone Contra: no milk to oats for included breakfast All in all: Strongly recommended, only: If you don't like pancakes, PB+J or every day eggs for breakfast, don't count on the 'full breakfast'! But apart from that a very good hostel and the rest is organizable as there is a big grocery store just 2 blocks away from the hostel.

Great!, just little too small one room, and you need another bathroom, or at least a sink! Thank´s

The staff was very friendly here, but the facilities left much to be desired. The rooms were extremely cramped and smelly -- the wood used for the bunk beds was not treated, and the mattresses were wrapped in clingfilm. The fact that there were only two bathrooms was in fact very inconvenient... one bathroom is in the bigger room (and it feels very awkward walking through the room when people are sleeping), and the other is in the front.

So me and my friend met up in Cancun for my Birthday and spring break. We decided to stay at Ka'T.beh Cancun, which was one of the best ideas. The hostel has its own little laid back vibe during the day. But at night time is the best time, the guest are all interacting, and the staff are right beside you the whole time. he staff was very helpful with what to do every night, booking tours to the Ruins, and even booking flights and visas to Cuba. Been travelling alot and one of my favorite hostels

good AC . maybe change the sheets to fit tighter and not so sea looking. The people who worked there were very very nice and very informed on local things. The best beaches, busses to take, tours arranged (good prices!).chichen itza!!!. Hammocks! lovely patio!!! lovely park nearby

This is a bit of a party hostel so if you are after a good night's sleep you may want to consider elsewhere. The dorms are also fairly small and 2 bathrooms can sometimes be difficult with the number of guests. Having said all that, the staff are super friendly and helpful and really want everyone to have a good time and there is a really nice atmosphere about the place. One recommendation is to put some hooks/shelves in the bathroom ....a common problem in hostels!!

Not in Zona Hotelera, but a short bus ride away from the beaches and buzzing nightlife. Located close to the bus station, grocery stores and restaurants. Staff was very helpful and the DIY breakfast was great! Lots of fun and late nights but also possible to sleep for those who wants to. Always clean and neat common areas + bathroom, well taken care of by the staff.

Hostel Ka'beh was truly my home away from home. The atmosphere is cozy and laid back most of the time, but at night there is always an organized activity to bring guests closer together (i.e. potluck, karaoke, barbeque). The staff were helpful, friendly, and made me feel welcome. If you need information on nearby attractions like Chichen-Itza, Tulum, Playa del Carmen, etc. they can help you plan your trip and save you money. I love this place, and I will definitely go back.
