Pro: Very good atmosphere, very helpful/friendly and integrating staff, perfect location 5min from ADO bus terminal, very clean, air condition in rooms, daily offered activities at night, from time to time delicious free Guacamole or BBQ at night for everyone Contra: no milk to oats for included breakfast All in all: Strongly recommended, only: If you don't like pancakes, PB+J or every day eggs for breakfast, don't count on the 'full breakfast'! But apart from that a very good hostel and the rest is organizable as there is a big grocery store just 2 blocks away from the hostel.

Hello!... I'm sorry you didn't like the breakfast, but as a full breakfast, you have four options: 1.) Peanut Butter and Jelly Sandwiches. 2.) Two eggs, Mexican Sausage (Chorizo) and bread. 3.) Unlimited Pancakes; and lastly: 4.) Unlimited Oatmeal with water, Cinnamon, and syrup. I hope you chose a different option on your next visit! - David Uribe Hostel Ka'bahe

The staff was very friendly here, but the facilities left much to be desired. The rooms were extremely cramped and smelly -- the wood used for the bunk beds was not treated, and the mattresses were wrapped in clingfilm. The fact that there were only two bathrooms was in fact very inconvenient... one bathroom is in the bigger room (and it feels very awkward walking through the room when people are sleeping), and the other is in the front.

Hello! I'm sorry you did not like our facilities, but I will have to correct and clarify your comment: Our wooden bunks are all completely treated. ••• Our rooms aren't huge, but they are definitely not 'extremely cramped', and in general our common areas are where people spend their time. ••• The mattresses are wrapped in saran wrap to keep them clean and bed-bug free (a huge problem in the region); and lastly, the large dorm with an en-suite bathroom is a 10-person dorm. It is quite communal to begin with, so generally there would be no problem walking through it, though as you mentioned we have a second bathroom at reception that is also available. Thank you, - David Uribe Hostel Ka'beh

So me and my friend met up in Cancun for my Birthday and spring break. We decided to stay at Ka'T.beh Cancun, which was one of the best ideas. The hostel has its own little laid back vibe during the day. But at night time is the best time, the guest are all interacting, and the staff are right beside you the whole time. he staff was very helpful with what to do every night, booking tours to the Ruins, and even booking flights and visas to Cuba. Been travelling alot and one of my favorite hostels

This is a bit of a party hostel so if you are after a good night's sleep you may want to consider elsewhere. The dorms are also fairly small and 2 bathrooms can sometimes be difficult with the number of guests. Having said all that, the staff are super friendly and helpful and really want everyone to have a good time and there is a really nice atmosphere about the place. One recommendation is to put some hooks/shelves in the bathroom ....a common problem in hostels!!

good AC . maybe change the sheets to fit tighter and not so sea looking. The people who worked there were very very nice and very informed on local things. The best beaches, busses to take, tours arranged (good prices!).chichen itza!!!. Hammocks! lovely patio!!! lovely park nearby

Not in Zona Hotelera, but a short bus ride away from the beaches and buzzing nightlife. Located close to the bus station, grocery stores and restaurants. Staff was very helpful and the DIY breakfast was great! Lots of fun and late nights but also possible to sleep for those who wants to. Always clean and neat common areas + bathroom, well taken care of by the staff.

Hostel Ka'beh was truly my home away from home. The atmosphere is cozy and laid back most of the time, but at night there is always an organized activity to bring guests closer together (i.e. potluck, karaoke, barbeque). The staff were helpful, friendly, and made me feel welcome. If you need information on nearby attractions like Chichen-Itza, Tulum, Playa del Carmen, etc. they can help you plan your trip and save you money. I love this place, and I will definitely go back.

I ´d paid a room in this hostel for 3 days but I had to go after 2 days and they didn´t want to pay me back this day. I ´d asked also if I come back in this hostel at the end of my trip, can I have a day free but they said no so I will not recommend this hostel

Hello!.... I'm sorry you had a bad experience, but you cancelled your 3rd night on the 3rd day and we have a 24-hr cancellation policy, which we agreed to waive under the condition we could find someone else to occupy your bed. We actually did find someone pretty quickly, but you had left unannounced before we could return your money. ••• As for changing the night to a future moment, it seems there may have been some miscommunication because it is common practice for us to offer this as an option to clients who have a last-minute change of plans. The entire crew at Ka'Beh was amazing! The self cook breakfast was probably the best continental breakfast I've had while traveling the world. Normally its toast, jam & fruit if you're lucky. Tequila Jenga night was a great way to meet a few of the other guests and it was really engaging. I can't wait to stay there again when I get back to Cancun.

I really liked the hostel, nearby all the things. A bus nearby which brought me to the beach. A really nice kind of plaza on the corner where was cheap food and not the typical tourist things but a place where locals came together. The people who where working in the hostel where really helpful and make my stay really nice! Every evening there is another activity to do! The only thing was that there are not enough bathrooms and showers. It didn't bother me but i saw that it bother other people.

Great hostel ! There's been many improvements since last I was there. The staff as always takes great pride in their treatment of guests and it shows including the carefully selected local decor. You'll wake up rested - nourished - never rushed - and filled with ideas for new adventures from the staff and the interesting guests from all over the world !!! Ideal location in the center of the city. Highly recommended!!!
