the place is really hidden. it's not so far from the street where you catch the buses to get around though. it has no character at all....just some really old building with rooms, but we liked it. the room's quite clean for the price. only problem was the bathrooms. they weren't so pleasant to take a bath in. (but you pay only $5, so you can't really expect much, especially on the bathrooms) my friend and i ended up using the room to ourselves only. also, it's a really quiet place.

The house was very dirty and we could not sleep one minute because of the noise all night long. Definitely wouldn´t go there a second time, it´s not even this money worth.

I only stayed one night. The Hostel is very basic but clean and not bad located. The owner was very kind though.

It's quiet, location's decent. You definitely get what you pay for though. It is cheap. The place is quiet, nobody bothers you, it's very ... basic. No curtain on the window, sun warmed up and woke me up very early in the morning, the fan stopped working. for me, key is a clean bed and a clean bathroom and the bathroom was everything but. The shower curtain was moldy, walls dirty, shower stop full of debris, no soap to wash your hands. I won't stay there again or recommend anyone do so

Very basic. Nothing but beds in the room. The hostel is not so close to the bus station, you have to walk at least 10 to 15 minutes even if you know the location (it's at the end of a back street). As an advantage, it seems a pretty secure place. To save your pennies and 'sleep and go' stay there. If you look for comfort go somewhere else.

The hostel is about 10 minutes walk from the bus terminal and there are lots of places to eat and get your laundry done local. The 2 men who ran the hostel were really friendly and helpful. Only down point was that our room had lots of ants and so we got bitten quite alot and the room wasn't very clean but for the price it is fantastic and would stay again.

Hostel Kankun is exactly what you'd expect for the price. Worked well for us as we just needed a place to stay whilst in transit through Cancun. It is a little further from the main bus terminal than you'd expect from their map.

Great little place in the centre of downtown cancun, very cheap and basic, nice friendly staff, we stayed in a big double room with our own fridge-freezer and a really confortble bed. not exactly the ritz, but for what your paying, you can't really complain. Would definitely stay there again...

Cheap and good hostel in Cancun, a bit hard to find but the location is good. Mañana mañana vibe from the staff and a good place to start.

We stayed in a private room for two persons with a shared bathroom. The room had a fan, two decent beds and the wifi connection worked very well. So it had everything we hoped for. This hostel had the cheapest accommodation that we found and it fullfilled our needs and expectations, compared to the price. The shared bathroom wasn't too comfortable, the pressure of the water in the shower was minimal. We didn't use the kitchen which was really small and didn't look that clean.
