This was the worst place ever!! We arrived late and we were met by a man that showed us the room. He gave us the key and asked for the money and left. The room had to beds with a hardly working fan. One of the beds had bedbugs and lot of cigarett holes in the cheat. That almost didnt cover the bed! The toilett/shower was dirty almost so bad we didnt go there at all! And it rained in in the hallway! Dont go there! Even if it was cheap it wasnt worth it! I think he had written the rewievs himself!
well u get what u pay for its not horrible or disgusting, but very simple. wifi works, showers work and u have a bed. fair enough though
You get what you pay for here. It's cheap and relaxed, good views from the roof and located on a quiet leafy street across from a park.
The hostel was alright, everything worked as it should - but there's no actual common room, the place is really hard to find, and the termites in the bathroom wasn't the company we were hoping for. But it's a cheap stay, and we had no problems with anything at all.
i literally chose this as the least expensive hostel i could find online. booked it online tentatively for my first nite in town after a late flight in not allowing me to shop around in person for where i'd like to stay. i'd stayed at numerous hostels in the first 4 months of this year in the Méxican state of Oaxaca and Guatemala and Nicaragua as well, and figured i could tough it. and i was right. my second and last night in Cancún i chose to stay this same place with utmost confidence.

There is nothing wrong with this hostel or the people who run it. The only thing wrong is snotty kids from the USA who want to be pampered and expect way to much. After living in mexico for 12 years, I can tell you that places like this that are stripped of extras are NORMAL for mexico. The guy was very nice, and gave me what I think was the best room in the place and also went as far as to look something up for me on the internet.
Don't expect anything from this place except that it's cheap :-)
For the price, it is an acceptable place to spend one night before leaving Cancun. You won't find a cheaper hostel. But there are no amenities whatsoever and it doesn't feel like a hostel at all, just a room in some guy's house. I got a bit of a shock when I closed the bathroom door to see that it was swarming with termites! I had the 2-bed female dorm to myself for the night, so I wasn't too worried about security, but there are no lockers. The owner was very nice.
