we had a great time here. the location is fantastic!! seriously everything you need is close to hand. the greatest part is the owner. all questions we had were answered efficiently and he always had great tips to give to help us get the most out of our visit. thank you

Great hostel. Very well located- the bus to the Falls leaves from across the road. Nice bar area with excellent caipirinhas! A few small things- could use a couple more bathrooms, and wifi just works in the common area. Stand out point though is the staff. Luis in particular is absolutely wonderful- as a tour guide he really knows his stuff and can help with both local and further afield info. Was like staying at a friend's house. Highly recommended.

Amazing staff, well spoken in both english and spanish! :) Really helpful in all ways! Great location on a nice street right next to busstop for Iguazu Falls. They can fix anything you´ll ever need.

There was a severe leak of yellow/brown right above our bathroom sink and a nasty odor in the our second floor and the ground floor bathrooms. Location ok, two blocks from urban bus terminal. Working AC and wifi. Nice to sit around in the terrace in the evening. Breakfast not included in the price and no shared kitchen. Not a `problem' but a drawback. Unwilling to sell coffee in the morning, unpleasant. But there is a café right next to hostel. Staff are very nice otherwise.

Not very clean, no one clean the bathroom for 2 days. Even the toilet garbage is there for 2 days. But price is quite fair. Bus terminal just 5 min walk. The staffs are very friendly and willing to help out everything. And speak English . Like here very much!

Great location a block from the bus station. Staff is helpful but mostly trying to sell tours.

The hostel is conveniently located downtown and close to the bus terminal. It is easy to go to the Iguazu falls from there. Our room was spacious, quiet and clean. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable about seeing the local attractions. We had air conditioning, which is not a default in Brazil. However, since our room was upstairs, the wi-fi did not work there. We needed to come down to the common area to use it, but there were lots of nasty mosquitoes that bit.

Stayed here for 3 nights whilst visiting the falls. The staff were extremely nice and helpful. As a group of 4 we had a 10 bed dorm all to ourselves. Wifi, air con, table tennis and available lockers. The atmosphere wasn't great but we were out of peak season. The showers are very cold but overall the hostel was great.

We really enjoyed our stay at Hostel Katharina. We stayed in a private double room with an ensuite. It is conveniently located and is walking distance to the bus station where you can get the bus to see Iguazu Falls. It's also close to a main road with several restaurants including great Lebanese restaurants. The staff were really friendly and helpful. I would definitrly recommend staying here. It also has a bar located at the front of the hotel but this was quiet when we were staying there.
