Achim leads a social environment here, from cooking dinner for everyone, to taking them out to a cool bar at night. If you stay here, your sure to have a social time, meet people, and have a good time overall. Bring earplugs though. Also, it seemed there were very few women staying here. But, I think that is characteristic of Ukraine -- that few women travel here alone.

If you want to have a great time in Kyiv and be in the center of everything, this is the place you want to stay. It's just a few steps from Khreshatic, the main street in Kyiv, and is ideally located for those attending matches at Olympiyskiy Stadium. Staff is great and the place is clean.

tWWe enjoyed our stay at the hostel and found the central location excellent. Marina, who was new at her position, has a warm helping personality and kept the hostel running wsmoothly. Our double was spacious with lots of places to store our backpacks. Our room looked tidy! Hostel was very clean and we like their shoes off policy. Our concern was with the facility as there is only one toilet with no sink in that rooom. Thus you must go next door into the shower area to wash.

Probably the best hostel between Berlin & Vladivostok! The atmosphere is brilliant thanks to Achim the owner who will do everything to make sure you have a good time. It's a hard place to leave - I almost wish I'd missed my flight!!

I Absolutely adored staying here. Two owners were extremely welcoming and giving of their time and energy. The place was clean as a whistle and very homey. Would come back again!!

Everything was great. Joachim and everybody there are great. I'm really happy that I chose to stay there. If you want to party, book here. If you want peace, book here. I do not know what else could be important when choosing a hostel. I really liked this place.

I have only good to say about this hostel. It is small and not that many people but everyone is very helpful and fun.

One of the best atmospheres of any hostel I've stayed at. Central location and a dedicated owner. You'll probably go out every night, if you want, and meet everyone staying there.

I stayed 1 night only but I felt like I have met my old friends again. The owner of the hostel and the stuff are very nice, careful and caring. Every day 'Hostel citizens' go out together and spend a great time. I went out with people whom I saw 1st time in my life and I was alone in Kiev but I never felt that. I loved my time there :) I would stay more if I could. Greetings from Armenia, Mariam :)

Recommendable place, Achim and the staff do a fantastic job there! At first, like in other Eastern hostels, you have to keep an eye on the numbers of the buildings there, otherwise you will pass it. On the whole I enjoyed a very familiar atmosphere there, they offer something for their guests!

We spend a great time in kiev, and also that hostel is amazing. Stuff are very friendly, there is always fun, each night they organize party in a bar close to hostel,... and also the cleanliness is quite good, and location is also the best! I strongly recommend that hostel!!

I had a really good time here. The place is clean, the facilities are new and the location is very convenient. What makes this place special, however, are the staff and the owner. They go out of their way to help you finding your way in Kiev and the owner makes sure that there is a great atmosphere by taking a flock of guests to the pub almost every night. Consequently, it's easy to meet fellow travellers here. A very friendly and social place.

The best hostel I ever stayed. The atmosphere is amazing. Staff is always helpful, provides you with entertainment and ensures you go out pubbing/clubbing at night. If you intend to party in Ukraine, stay definitely there.

This hostel is like a friend´s house! Very good location and great atmosphere. There´s one special reason for staying here: Achim takes the guests out everyday single day. Thanks for the vodka, my friend :) I had a great time!
