Great old building with a nice central foyer. They look after you well and make sure you have everything you need. Beds are awesome as well.

We originally had 5 nights booked at Hostel Kilombo but only ended up staying for 3 before changing hostels. The main reason for leaving was the cigarette smoke which constantly filled the hostel due to people being allowed to smoke in the enclosed courtyard which the rooms came off. The doors did not stop the smoke entering the rooms and as non-smokers we couldn´t stand breathing it in any longer so opted to move hostels.

We really enjoyed our two week stay at Hostel Kilombo - we originally intended to try a few hostels but stuck with Kilombo. It was very clean, the security was excellent, with lockers provided (bring your own padlock), and the staff couldn´t do enough to help you out. Only a couple of blocks away from the main square, which is really handy. As it was low season, there weren´t that many others staying, but the atmosphere was enjoyable. The owner has interesting plans to improve the hostel.

Hostel Kilombo was by far the best hostel I've staying during my South America trip. It starts with the helpfull and friendly staff, and continues when you get into your room: The beds are wide and comfy, the ensuite toilets are clean (and being cleaned every day), there are big private lockers, hot water 24h, new computers with fast internet and wi-fi. And in addition to all of that, there is a good travel agnecy working within the hostel.

Cannot say enough great things about Hostel Kilombo. Great location in the historic district of Cusco. Very affordable. Comfortable. And very Clean! Housekeeping does a thorough job every day. All of that being said, Nir and his staff were some of the nicest people I've ever met. They were extremely knowledgable, helpful, and kind. I've stayed at several hostels all over the world and consider Hostel Kilombo the overall best. Thank you so much for helping make my time in Peru a fantastic one.
