Hostel Kojic-Bar Reviews

Not really a hostel more of a budget hotel. However for a double bed and room with TV to myself for around 14 Euro, can't really complain. Only a cursory nod to other guests in the hallway, so not good for meeting others. Finding the hostel is not easy

A clean and comfortable room with a nice view. Great for a few relaxing nights.

A great place to stay in Bar. A 30 minute walk to the town centre. The rooms are excellent hotel standard, immaculately clean - rooms have a little kitchenette to make hot drinks and meals. The Kojic family offer free pick-up from the bus or train station - but they didn't pick me up as they thought I was arriving at 7pm, so was left waiting at the train station. I eventually got a taxi there for 5 euro. I will stay here again!

Fantastic value, newly renovated apartment, good facilities ....was unfortunately raining when I was there so I can't comment on the beach but it was relaxing there anyway.

Make sure to e-mail the hostel owner if you are arriving by bus! Depending on where you are coming from (in my case, Kosovo) tell the bus driver to stop the bus next to the restaurant "mimosa" - the hostel is 50m up, next to the supermarket GMG. We told the owner we would be arriving at 5:00am, but he was sleeping and didn't answer the door until 6:30. Other than that, the place is super clean and very nice. More of a private room deal.

Right by the sea, great view of the mountains. Very clean, and hosts are very kind. The place is just a short walk across one street to the beach! There are many grocery stores nearby, at Nona's you can get domestic Bar olive oil. I rented a bike rom the hostel cheaply, rode to old city Stari Bar and to see the "2000 year olive tree" Stara Maslina. My advice for the adventurer : go from the bus station to Durmitor National Park! You can make it a day trip if you go early.

This facility was a dream for us -- myself, my husband, daughter and son. We had a WHOLE apartment! There was not one speck of dust anywhere. Clean, clean, clean. It looked as though nothing had ever been used. New bathroom facilities. Tiny outdoor porch where we had morning coffee. There was some mix-up about picking us up at the train station -- a minor detail. The owner's son drove us to the bus station in the morning -- very thoughtful. I loved my stay here.

We had been travelling for 2 months so we needed a place to chill for a couple days and this place fit perfectly. Host was very nice & picked us up from the bus station. There is little to do in bar, the best part was actually this hostel! It is located in the beachy part of town, but still within walking distance to the centre. Its also close to the beach. Our room had a mini kitchen, ensuite and sky tv! Only complaint is a leak from the shower, otherwise excellent value for money!!!

It is luxury for 14 Euros! First of all, you get a pick up from the busstation, second my room was fully equipped with a bathroom, small kitchen, tv and even a balcony with seaview. Last, the hostel is owned by a very friendly family that helps all the time.
