It's far from the airport but about everything is. The folks were very helpful and the place looked like it would have been alot of fun if I could have stayed longer. Unfortunately, I needed to get to Bogota in less than a week so I had to keep travelling.

Great if you are young and like to party. Way too loud for me, and other guests were too casual with keeping things secure. 2nd stay my locker didn´t work, which brought down the security rating, but they first stay it worked great and they also have a locker for those who have checked out but still needed to be around for a while. Staff was very friendly and professional.

Good hostel but the showers are very tiny and cannot take you stuff inside to dress without it get wet, a little unconfortable. And the bathroom are not cleaned regularly. Internet doesn t really work. Apart of those 2 inconvenients atmosphere is nice and staff very nice and gives you a lot of information and tips.

The hostel is ok. It had vegemite at breakfast (thank you to whoever left that) and helpful staff. The location is great (only a few blocks from good eateries and Parque Kennedy), the downside to this is that Calle Berlin has a tonne of bars that pump music late into the even and into early morning too. However, the internet is shoddy (drops in and out. Or sometimes not at all) and the showers were cold.

In the female dorm I stayed in first there werent enough lockers that actually locked for the number of beds available. In the 8 bed dorm, there are huge lockers that can be locked with your own lock. Expensive, but standard for Lima. Staff were very helpful. Beds are big and comfortable, though there is a bit of street and pub noise at night so bring earplugs if you are a light sleeper. Facilities are usually clean and I didnt have to wait to use them during my stay.

Well situated, secure with helpful staff. The atmosphere is friendly and party time was fun. There was a bit of a mess up with my booking. I had booked into the female dorm, which turrned out to be full so had to stay in a mixed dorm. Not too much of a problem for me but could be a problem for others. Otherwise yeah I would be happy to suggest Kokopelli to others as a place to stay

The breakfast at a cafe around the corner was good at the first day but in the others they didn’t served the juice under the menu only for paying customers. The shower didn’t get hot water and it was a little bit noisy at night due to the sound coming from nearby establishment, but it’s very well located near all the 24h facilities. And we would return for the helpful staff specially Vladmir, the very nice atmosphere, comfortable beds and clean linen and room.

Kokopelli was my last stop before returning home after a 7 week trip. It had just the right atmosphere to help me relax and enjoy Lima before the long flight home. Great location and nice amenities.

Definitely a party hostel - there are always people in the bar and it's very lively at night, although I didn't have any difficulty getting to sleep. Great location in Miraflores, tons of restaurants around, although you'll need a bus or a taxi to get to the Centro Historico. Very good on the whole but definitely better for young party types than for older travellers (I'm kind of teetering between the two!)

Even though we havent spend much time in the hostel, we loved the character of kokopelli. The paintings ( art work ) on the wall, the lights and roof top bar were great.. The staff were exteremly helpful and polite and they had a tour operator in the hostel which was very handy and we booked our calco canyon and machu pichu tour.wehad à private room which was good to have after à 15 hr flight.the only fault i could find in this hostel was the noise at night because of the 2 bars located below.

Bar staff are mostly inattentive, as they are volunteers (texting/web surfing instead of working). The rest of the hostel staff are simply amazing. Location is prime, lockers are huge and robust and the included breakfast is delicious. There are two PCs for those who don't have wi-fi devices. Excursion packages are quite expensive.
