Hostel La Posada La Casa de la Luna is located in the heart of the scenic route number 10, which connects the towns of La Paloma, La Pedrera, Cabo Polonio, La Barra de Valizas and Freshwater, joining the tour of Laguna Rocha and the Laguna de Castillos. Its location near the sea, the lagoon and Laguna de Castillos Rocha and Pedrera center allows you to enjoy this wonderful natural environment. The Hostel is Surrounded by Ancient gully at the edge of the dunes of the wild beaches of Desplayado of La Pedrera, where you have a good view of the horizon over the sea. We recommend the outputs of the full moon over the sea from the rooms.
The House of the Moon and its environment take on a particular charm, where wild nature combined with comfortable facilities to enjoy the service of accommodation in Rocha, Uruguay.

Importantly, Hostel La Posada La Casa de la Luna, is home to the interpretive center of Punta Rubia de la Pedrera, a project born of the enterprise of local people in order to preserve its diverse natural heritage.
This initiative aims to provide professional information for visitors to enjoy and learn about the diverse wildlife of the area, in a pleasant and fun, offering guided tour makes a good enhancement of the natural resource areas near the Pedrera and hostel facilities.
