Good place, calm and relaxing atmosphere. Staff always ready, cheers... And wednesday there is live tango in the small KFE! Nice point to know Valparaíso.

It is in a touristic point region. I was a bit worried about the street. I was coming back late to hostel, like 22h30 and people around the street were saying that the way until there was dangerous (that I have to be careful). Nothing bad happened.

The most charming place where I stayed during my journey in Chile. Hostel is like an old mansion, a real maze with all facilities you need like a kitchen or a small patio, located in the middle of the area classified by Unesco as world heritage. Staff is so smiling and really helpful if you need, lot of restaurants and bars around and you have to walk ten minutes to reach a big supermarket. Definitely a characterful place.

Lovely stay, friendly staff eager to help, very clean, great view from the terraza, big breakfast. I definitely recommend this hostel, located at the Cerro Concepcion, next to restaurants, the ascensor Concepcion and lovely artcraft shops. Beware if you have trouble with stairs,many of them.

La Colombina is awesome. The staff will go out of their way to help you. The rooms are pretty cheap compared to some of the other Valpo hostels, and it's in a great location right near the funicular in Cerro Concepcion. I don't know why this place doesn't show up my guidebook, but I'm so glad I found it!
