Good value for money. Staff were great ; friendly and helpful with feedback (even before we arrived'via email). Wifi patchy in some rooms but excellent in common area. Breakfast had good choices, if eating early or late. Located abt 5mins wlk from bus station and 10-15 from main square.Rooms are spacious, the shower was a bit pokey, but overall bathroomgood.
Room & bathroom a good size. A bit of traffic noise, get one away from the street if possible. Good location; 5mins walk from bus station & 10-15 from central square & restaurants/cafes etc. Staff very helpful & knowledgeable. WIFI good in common areas but patchy in some rooms.
Room was clean and some good sized communal areas. However, the rooms and communal areas could do with updating. The area was nice and close to shops and restaurants.
We met really great people at hostel Lao, it's a very nice hostel. The staff had a few communication issues (different people telling us different times for activities and different payment policies) but they were very friendly and all issues were easily resolved with some patience.
Comfortable, relaxed and very clean. Located between the bus station and the centre 10 mins walk from either, nice common rooms with comfortable sofas, lots of places to sit inside and out, great kitchen, basic dorms, good sized lockers, very good WiFi, very friendly and helpful staff / owners, nice guests. Overall well above average.
Really great place. All the staff were really helpful and the hostel has a really relaxed vibe. Big garden outside to chill out in and the rooms are relatively big too. It's only a few blocks from the bus terminal which is handy too. Would stay again.
I loved everything about this hostel. Lovely atmosphere and staff who were always happy to help. It was a very nice place to chill out and relax, and I would have gladly stayed a lot longer.
Probably one of the best hostels we have stayed at so far. Very relaxed and laid back. If you want to chill out for a couple days, do a few winery tours and maybe have a bbq for dinner, Lao is the perfect place for you. If you are looking for a party hostel, you might want to look somewhere else though.
Amazing time at hostel Lao- the staff are brilliant and you're guaranteed a great time! Brilliant!! We'll be back

We had a lovely double room, loads of space and great value for money. Hostel is clean and staff are super friendly. Kitchen well-equipped and the BBQ was great fun and tasty. Small 10 min walk to central plaza but not a problem for us. We would recommend Hostel Lao
Extremely helpful staff! We got some real good tipps and we've been taken good care of.
Myself and my boyfriend had a really great stay here. The hostel is a short walk from the bus station and close to the town centre. The staff, especially Francisco and Maurizio really went out of their way to help us organise wine tours, activities and to make restaurant reservations for us. There was a lovely pizza and beer night which was great fun. Breakfast was decent. Bedroom andbathrooms were lovely and kept clean. Would definitely recommend staying here!
maybe you can improve the kitchen supplies ( pots and pans). Please make sure that the toiletseats are secured to the pot and matrasses are checked every once in a while on their comfort levels for the rest everything was perfect! :-)

a little bit away but an amazing place to stay. the staff are amazing and help with everything you need. great garden to relax in. Very relaxing and not a party hostel which we were happy with
The BBQ dinner was amazing! And a really great way for all of us travelers to get to know each other. Pool, hammock, kitchen are wonderful. The breakfast is delicious!! Super helpful staff that gives great suggestions on where to go and how to get places.
Was totally ripped off for Xmas eve dinner. If they offer something for a price be wary about it. 600 paseos for an xmas eve dinner and all u can eat. Only wine that didn't last long not enough food and it was just too exp. I had a new years dinner at another hostel for 300 and it blew this one away. That's the only complaint other than that it was a beautiful place.

Very nice hostel. Definitely recommended. Good atmosphere, nice garden, good breakfast. Only disappointment was the christmas-eve dinner. It was nice but absolutaly not worth the 600ARS we had to pay.
A pretty place in a great location. I was very happy with the breakfast on the first morning which included fruit and great bread, however this diminished in both range and quantity on other mornings. Great atmosphere and met lots of cool people. Unfortunately I agree with others regarding Christmas dinner, it was not good value considering the amazing food and wine offered in Mendoza for half this price.
Very friendly staff and nice hostel. The garden is small but beautiful. You can use the very clean kitchen and living room if you want. The included breakfast offers much more than most hostels. Unfortunately our room was a bit noisy because it was right next to the street. But during the night there were very little cars. We enjoyed our stay very much.
