Las Palomas is the best hostel I have stayed in for ages and I have been travelling for the past 8 months. The staff is very friendly, helpful and accommodating. The rooms are big and spacious and mine had a fire place which they set up for me so it was super cosy!! Definitely the best value for money in San Cristobal!!!

Great owners, great Staff, great location. The breakfast was really good, warm room, nice fires in the evening and like minded guests. The bathroom was very clean. Its only 5 minutes walking from the Cathedral and the main square and they can tell you everything you need to know to take it from there. I would definitely return to this place without a doubt should I visit Chiapas again. Great Value!

What a Fantastic place to spend few days or even few years, what a welcoming and friendly people working there. As a avid traveler for the past 10 years or so, I found the atmosphere so cosy and helpful, close to the city center and every need or question was always solved by the staff. I cant wait for the summer to be back there and enjoy what I consider as a great, great experience. The tips and comments from the staff make us really enjoy San Cristobal.

Had a really enjoyable stay over New Year's. In no way a luxury hostel, it has everything you need to advance you on your travels. It's in a good, safe area, the staff are extremely helpful (Esteban is a legend!), it's clean throughout with a spacious courtyard to slouch around in, has wifi and a decent breakfast offering.

Loved Las Palomas! Unfortunately we were there at a very cold time and absolutely froze throughout the night! We had a nice fireplace but the wood was wet and there was no where to buy it. If it were not for the cold, it was fantastic!
