I don't know who wrote the other reviews for this hostel, but it was the WORST hostel I e evert stayed at. The host was too lazy to even walk up the stairs to show me my room!

Hostel Lika is not too difficult to get to (catch a tram from station). However we arrived and received no orientation, the hostel itself is quite dark, poorly presented and dirty and our rooms were reasonable but the sheets looked very old and worn out. We had to get a late train before we left and they wouldn't look after our bags for just a couple of hours.

The boss was a really cool and welcoming guy, giving plenty of advice about Croatia and lake Plitvice. I think he was one of the nicest host we've encounter. The hostel was really tidy and close to the bus station, best way to travel in Croatia. Thank you hostel Lika!

Amazing, amazing, amazing!! I have travelled a lot and been in many hostels, but by far this is the best place I have ever stayed. The owner is amazing, great guy, very nice and friendly. He helped me out with all my problems and went beyond his duties to satisfy all the guest with a free dinner. If I'm ever back in town I will be staying here, hands down. The place is very unique and built with love. Everything is clean and organized. Don't miss out on this great experience.

Recommended. Very clean and tidy. Great kitchen. We were given a big servicing for BBQ dinner and breakfast was nice. The guesthouse was run by a lovely lady.

Very clean and simple but comfortable rooms. Nice bathroom and kitchen, very pleasant common living room. The guy at the reception is very positive and is eager to chat a bit and give you basic information about the city or public transport. It is not easy to find the hostel if you arrive by car because a lot of streets around are one direction but the location is very good - close to the tram and bus stops. For this money, it is great and I would stay there once more if I came to Zagreb.

Cannot fault this hostel or the staff. Really nice rooms and a great communal bar by the reception. Shops, other bars and cafes can also be found nearby.

When I wanted to check-out, there was no-one in reception. So I left a key in a post-box. And also, in my room (pad)lock of the closet was broken so I couldn't leave my backpack in.

For two times that i stayed at this Hostel i had to wait half an hour for someone to open me the door. when i asked to change to a another room (the same kind of room) i was told that it was not possible since the hostel was completely full. this was not true as only a couple people were staying there. Part of the hostel is in a new building but the other is in a old one where there is too much noise. I would not recommend this hostel.
