veryyyyyyyyyyyyyy nice guy

Great athmosphere at the hostel, with a lot of live music, nice meals and a great host Lissandro. Located right next to a beach and easy to reach by the vans who run through town.

The 3 girls who worked there were really nice (Ana, Fernanda, and Martina). They were very aware of everything going on around for tourists and made me feel home. The room is good, the AC is a plus. The bathroom though was not very usable as well as the kitchen. Bathroom was dirty. The shower was awful (no pressure at all and the water was always cold. I could've wasted way less water and power if it worked well). The kitchen was dirty, the fridge was gross. Everything else was fine.

Lobo Inn is located in a good place, easy to get there. There is a big kitchen with all the kitchen tools needed and a living where you can watch t.v. The Owner Lizandro is pretty cool and all the girls working there too. There atmosphere is also cool. Pretty Recommended.

Some of the staff were very rude (speaking to me rudely when I asked simple questions) and unhelpful (once I rang the bell at the front desk and no one answered, then when I went downstairs to try to find someone the staff member on duty was just lying on the floor even though she could clearly hear the bell). Kitchen small, dirty and falling apart. Bread at breakfast was stale and crawling with ants. Water service turned off at one stage w/out explanation. Wifi might as well be non-existent...

Owner Comment (Hide)
I'm sorry that u had bad time here but that's a unfair comment. My staff are volunteers, people who offer their services of their own free will or without pay, We support this idea using worldpackers.com, maybe they need more training.I remember that u don't make any friends, shared any drink, take any photo, never smiled, never showed happiness, when in hostel try to be more friendly the things will be better!!

Awesome place! Great staff! Good location! Definitely recommend !

You feel like you are staying at a friends house here. The owner is great and often cooks group meals or BBQ's for everyone, sometimes for a small charge sometimes for free. The staff were all super friendly, It is relatively small and as such everyone hangs out together, we did lots of group trips and nights out. There is also a pier just out the back where you can sit and watch the sunset which is beautiful. The main door can be easily opened without a key so security is not great.

Travelled for one month in Brazil and Lobo in Buzios was my favorite place! AMAZING STAFF! Lyzendro will welcome you as a family member! Strongly recommend!

Fine hostel in Buzios.. The place is clean and kept well, situated near the beach, although not a great beach. Alright stay. Not too much atmosphere though.

Great staff and great owner who were excellent. They made you feel like family. The hostel is about a 30 min walk into the main town but there were lots of cheap vans that can drive you. Lots of restaurants, grocery stores and shops right next to the hostel and the beach is a 30 second walk away. Good choice if you don't want to be right in the town.

What a great place to relax, cook meals in the fully equipped kitchen, and casually stroll to Porto da Barra and the beach, just 2 minutes away. New, solid bunk beds. Relaxed, calm, friendly staff happy to help with whatever request you have...Close to supermarkets, fruit stand, fish market, but away from the tourist crowds. Watch sunset from the beach a 2 minute walk away.

Really nice place near to the beach and services, the staff is awesome, we have such a good time, definitely recommend!

Do not believe the rating of this hostel, it is an ok hostel but not a great one. That being said, one of the staff members was way more interested in creepily hitting on the Argentinian guests than doing his job and was really hard to deal with. I'd give it a miss

The cleanliness of the hostel was ok, rooms/bathrooms were cleaned everyday and they also have a nice living area/kitchen/bar. Most of the staff were helpful/friendly, however, they always seemed to be busy or doing something else in which case no one was at reception. Check-in for example took about an hour. The wifi didn't work at all or very poorly. The breakfast needs serious improvements, since they only serve butter with the bread.. And some of the beds were not so stable/broken.

The staff is great and the hostel is ok fro the price in Buzios.

Such an amazing hostel. Great facilities and good location. The owner makes you feel very welcome and takes you on beach tours and city tours too. I've stayed in Brazil for 2 months and this has by far been the best hostel I've been to.

Should be able to give Staff more than 100%. Lizandro was very friendly and helpful, almost to an extreme. Took me and a couple who also stayed at the hostel to some amazing beaches more than 1h drive from the hostels. Thanks for a great stay Lizandro!

The place has a great location close to many beaches and there are restaurants and shops close by. It is easy to get to the city center by taking the bus since the hostel is on the main road. The owner of the hostel was very helpful and since he is from Buzios he had great recommendations of where to go and what to do that any other travel book or website would know to recommend.

Lizandro the hostel owner was absolutely class went out of his way to take us around the peninsular and show us a good time had a great barberque as his friend is a chef .

Lisandro and the Lobo Inn are truly awesome. The hostel is perfectly situated within a few minutes walk of amazing beaches, bars, restaurants, and super markets. The place has a cozy feeling and is very clean. Lisandro is extremely nice and accommodating - he grew up in Buzios and has great recommendations and even took us out one day to explore the island. I cannot recommend this place highly enough.
