Actually a very nice hostel, very comfortable and clean. The problem is that the stuff doesn't speak English and gives no good advises for places where to go.
lack of information about how to get there (considering that public transport is definitively not efficient some tips helps like the number of buses and some reference about where to stop) + no maps available faltam informacoes sobre como chegar (considerando que o transporte publico nao è eficiente, algumas dicas seriam uteis tipo os numeros dos bus que chegam ai e tambem onde parar)+ nao tem mapas da cidade
The secutity is good, location is ok, walking 10 minutes to the central beach '' Ponta Verde'', breakfast is ok, nice and clean, rooms with AC and Fans, the only thing is that the Staff had no English, nut if you have some spanhish you can get along with. a part of that, is fully recommded!!!
I really enjoyed this hostel. It is a very friendly and social environment without being a party scene. The staff is very helpful, especially with setting up trips to beaches. They also have a great breakfast!

Really good place to stay in. Very good location, great atmosphere and very helpful staff. Thank you, Eline.
There is just not much to say. It is ok if you are just passing by Maceio. Just plain ok.
Not a very friendly place, but the room was fine.
Staff doesn't speak any word english or spanish, only portuguese-.- If you don't portuguese it's difficult to know people because the guests are a mostly brazilians
Great hostel! The staff is really good, the hostel is open 24h and really close to the only nice and clean urban beach!! Lots of travellers sleep there, so we received a lot of usefull informations about the cities we would have visited then! The place is clean and quiet, definetly a hostel where i would come back!!! Cheap, comfortable and well located: the best choice :-) :-)
Unfortunately there is only one bathroom for three dorms. None of the staff spoke english, sometimes unfriendly and not helpful at all, no maps of Maceio available.

Common spaces wasn´t too bad, but the shared rooms and the bathroom terrible. But that wasn't all, the stuff didn't help at all too impreve my experience.
I slept both night in a 6-bed room even paying for a 4-bed room. The first night I stood in an ensuite room with air conditioning. However, for the second night I had to change to a room without a bathroom or air conditioning. They don't even provide you a city map. The hostel is though very clean, the beds were comfortable and I met many nice people. They also have a billard table and hammocks for you to relax and have fun.
No English is spoken - but that's not the problem in itself, however the staff didn't really show any interest in whether I knew where I was going, how to get there, whether I would like to know something about the local attractions etc. The staff seemed friendly with the Portuguese speakers, but the language barrier did not allow them to do the same with non-Brazilians.
I just stayed one night. Its basic, its good.
Internet & breakfast were excellent. Rooms quite small - only one bathroom for two dorms to share though. Hostel disputed price we got on hostelworld - we had to forward our confirmation email to them.
One bathroom for more than 16 people is really not enough. The room itself had a bad smell and instead of being in a 4bed dorm as our reservation said we ended up in a 6 bed dorm. But they had some hammocks and the guy at the reception was really friendly and helpfull!
