Hostel Majdas is simply one of the nicest places I've stayed in. It is the place you intend to stay a night at and end up staying a lot longer due to the basic fact that your host treats you as a good friend, and the hostel feels like a home. Majda is one of the kindest people I have met and her hostel reflects that. It is well situated, has a great kitchen and a fantastic atmosphere. If Bata's tour is offered...go! His energy, and stories will keep you going all day! I thank them both so much.

Majdas hostel is one of the best hostels you can ever see as it feels like a real house rather than a place to pay and sleep for one night. Majda is an amazing lady that treats her visitors like a guest rather than a customer. Literally she does! She can make you surprised by offering and doing some favors that you don't expect from a hostel. It's worth going to Mostar just to see and stay at this hostel and feel how amazing it can be when someone does her job with a deep love.

The most unique hostel I have encountered. Really sets itself apart from the rest by just going the extra mile (ie coffee/tea on arrival, soup in the evening, cake before bed) and Majda and Bata are some of the most friendly, welcoming and again unique people I have met. Impeccable cleanliness, and a very homely vibe, and the tour is just so random and interesting. I actually think that staying at this hostel should be part of everyone's itinerary when visiting Bosnia and Herzegovina.10 points!

This is by far the best hostel ever! Very friendly and hospitable people! Upon arrival I got free coffee and soup. They also have a pick up service for people coming with the bus. The athmosphere is great. It's like being at home. The price is really cheap for all that you get. It was voted in the top 5 hostels in the world in September and I can really see why. When I go back to Mostar, I would love to stay there again. Loes. P.S. Take Bata's tour if you have the chance. It's amazing!

I genuinely can't imagine a more friendly, welcoming and brilliant place to stay. Majda picked us up from the station, fed us, accommodated our late decision to stay a 2nd night and arranged a taxi to take us back to the station early in the morning. Such a beautifully friendly atmosphere in an amazing place (and Bata's tour was brilliant too, if slightly crazy!). I sincerely hope I manage to visit Bosnia again some day, and I wouldn't think of staying anywhere other than here.

This was a great place to stay. It's in an apartment about 5 mins walk from Old Town Mostar. Majda and Admir are lovely and you are made to feel very welcome. There is often free soup in the evenings and the breakfast is delicious. If you need any help with transport, tours, sightseeing, restaurants etc. you only have to ask one of the guys and they will help. The free pickup is great. Make sure you take Bata's tour - it really is crazy!! I booked two nights in this hostel and stayed four!

Amazing Hostel! You can only describe it in superlatives: cleanest hostel, coziest, best staff and so on! Do the tour! I did it at my first stay at this hostel. Unfortunately I had no time to do it this time but its just great! Definitely stay here!

This was my favourite hostel of my month long trip through the balkans. I came feeling unwell and uninspired, and left refreshed and so enriched from my experience staying here. Majdas was so welcoming and lovely. All this goodness was infectious so all the guests were happy and lovely too. I thought I would stay one night but stayed three. Mostar is a fascinating area and if you get the chance to do the tour with Majdas' brother - DO IT! Thank you everyone at Hostel Majdas for your hospitality.

One of my favourite, truly unforgettable hostel experiences! It's a veritable traveller's haven in this corner of the world, simply because Majda is a great hostess and the hostel is so homey and comfortable. Bata's tour is just as legendary. I intended to only stay 2 nights but ended up staying 4! It was a great place to meet other travellers and make friends. Thank you Majda for your warm, genuine hospitality!

Amazing hostel. The owner Majda goes well out of her way to ensure that you're comfortable and have all that you need. Free transfers from the bus station, delicious snacks on arrival, amazing breakfast each morning and there was even free soup one night. Rooms were comfortable and very social and friendly atmosphere. If you go to Mostar, you must stay here!

super comfy hostel with ultra cool and helpful and nice staff. majda the owner is a little mommy to the guests, i find it really nice, u feel like home as opposed to these cold character-less chain hostels. you MUST do the tour with bata organized by the hostel, it's really awesome! the rooms are clean and comfy! bad point: i find the pillows too gigantic. otherwise, if i ever go back to mostar id 1000000% for sure chose to stay there again!

Very charming and eccentric. Little too much like school camp for me. This might be fun for some though, but not for everyone.
