excellent hostel, we were welcomed very warmly at the train station and then had a coffee and some pastries with the hostel owners upon arrival. all of the advice they gave on what to see in Mostar and where to eat was great. our only regret is not staying longer!! but there is always next time

We had such an amazing stay here at Majdas, Immediately welcomed with cake and coffe, the staff were extremely warm and helpful. The hostel offer a tour around Mostar which I would 100% recommend as it is an incredible and educational experience!

Let's put it this way: anyone who goes to Mostar and doesn't stay at Hostel Majdas is missing out on the experience of a lifetime. Majda, Bata and their mother are all delightful-- warm, friendly, informative-- and the brand-new facilities are clean, well organized, and super easy to get to. ALSO: Bata's tour, which includes not only Mostar but the surrounding area including the dervish house at Blagaj, Kravic waterfalls, and the medieval town of Pocitelj is NOT to be missed.

Majda and Bata are the best hostel owners/operators in the world. They came to meet us when we couldn't find the hostel, they gave us excellent advice on sites to see and restaurants to eat at, Bata's tour is an amazingly informative and unique experience that you will not see anywhere else in the world, Majda's breakfast, tea , and coffee is incredible, and just when you think things couldn't possibly get any better, you see the showers.
