Where to start!?! The hostel was so homey, had top-notch showers, wonderful security, and the best staff I've come across on my travels. With a welcoming cup of tea and cake, we instantly fell in love with everyone. We got a wonderful map of the city; also, we took the day tour with Bata and oh my goodness! It was the most touching, lovely tour I have been on in 3 months. If you need a home, go to Hostel Majdas! No questions =)

Fantastic hostel. Would recommend to anyone. Great atmosphere. The tour was outstanding.
Great atmosphere and the owner was very helpful and kind.
Most fantastic hostel ever! Majda (and Batman!) runs a tight ship—extremely welcoming, cozy, and clean. Breakfast is served at a (backpacker's) reasonable hour every day, and Bata's tour of the area is a must. Couldn't have had a better time!
I loved my stay at majda's! Majda was so lovely and caring and did everything to help us out with any issues. When we were trying to organise a shuttle she used her mobile phone to call some friends to try and help us, even though it was late at night. Her breakfasts were delicious and she made us tea at night The hostel has a comfortable atmosphere and feels like home. And it's clean!! Her brothers tour was so great and interesting - definitely worth doing!! Would definitely recommend majda's.
Fantastic hosts and atmosphere - really clean and homely. Also really appreciated the great breakfast and soup for lunch!

The hostel is amazing, very clean and tidy. The hostel us a big outdoor area where everyone sits and socializes. Very nice free breakfast, the day we arrived we were also created with soup. The day trip is money well spent, best tour I've done during my time in Europe, mix of nature and history. I'll definitely be coming back to Bosnia and I'll definitely be stopping back in at Majdas
Really great hostel! The best staffs i've ever met. It felt like being part of big family. Try it! You will not regret it! Thanks again for the nice stay! Jakob
A welcoming and well located hostel. The staff are friendly. I loved the communal areas and breakfasts but didn't like that you had to be quiet from pretty early. We were asked to be quiet from onwards of 10.30pm... You do feel a little like you're in someone's private house and with that comes less privacy. The individual shower and toilet cubicles are great.
A warm Bosnian welcoming from Majda and staff who quickly get to know you by name. Fantastic outdoor area which creates a wonderful social atmosphere- great for solo travellers. The rooms are spacious and comfortable and the bathrooms are sparkling clean. The best hostel shower I've had all year! Majda makes sure you're well fed with a variety of delicious breakfasts and sometimes even some afternoon soup. A great way to chat and meet others
Best "home atmosphere" you can ask for in a hostel and great place to stop and chill for a couple of days, it really feels like home. The ocasional free soups were also great. =)
Amazing homestay type hostel. I loved the breakfast, the terrace and it was so easy to meet other travellers. Great vibe.
Enjoyed my stay at Hostel Majdas. Very clean, well kept facilities. Lovely breakfast each morning. Very social atmosphere, excellent for solo travellers. The day tour they provide is a must too - long day but crazy educational, and just crazy in general. Would definitely stay here again if I returned to Mostar.
The absolute best hostel you will ever stay in. Do yourself a favour and don't bother shopping around because staying in this hostel will make your stay in Mostar one you will truly never forget. Thank you majda and crew. Tip: do the tour!
Hostel Majdas is a fantastic family run hostel with a great social vibe. It's central, safe, clean and the owners are extremely helpful. Breakfast and afternoon tea is provided and creates an opportunity to socialise with the other travellers. If the numbers are sufficient, the hostel also runs a day tour which is not to be missed. If you love to socialise and make new friends, this is your hostel. Loved it! Thank you Hostel Majdas!

Awesome introduction to Mostar. I felt very welcomed, I still miss the delicious breakfast and the crazy tour with Bata lived through the expectation in despite of being recommended by backpackers all over the Balkans. just don't ask anything about it. it is a surprise, Balkan style.
Really enjoyed my stay at Hostel Majdas. The staff are all helpful, and breakfast is amazing. The tour is worth every penny, don't miss out! A good hostel to stay for an independent traveller, very easy to meet people My only slight complaint is that while I completely understand why the outside common area is closed at midnight, I think the inside common area could remain open.
