it was one of the best hostels i have ever been. i even booked an other night. it does not mather that it is not located in the center because u can get there easily bz tram.

very nice hostel , with very nice and helpfull stuff. they have a common room, which is great, but you are also allowed to smoke. good if you are a smoker, bad for non smokers like me. but would go there again!

Very secure hostel, but a bit of a jog from town. Be prepared to do a fair bit of walking to get to the nearest tram station. Excellent bathrooms and very quiet! Directions clarification: the bakery on the corner of Ilicais called "Mlinar." It has a blue and yellow sign.

Very nice Hostel! I especially liked all the atmosphere and the up common room to the upper floor with the beautifull windows and the view from them!

It's been great staying at Mali Mrak Hostel. Even when I came back at 3 in the morning you opened the doors to welcome me and my friend! Thanks a lot!

Enjoyed my stay here. Excellent hosts and comfy hostel to chill out at. Dont be put off by it not being in the centre of the city as it's very easy to get into town. Thanks for the hospitality and eating out tips.

Fantastic hostel - close to a supermarket, just a tram ride away from the centre of town. And all the wall murals are very neat!

this was by far my favourite hostel on my trip! the staff is great! have awsome conversation and they are extremely welcoming! feels like home! the neighbours are great! and of course the beds are really comfortable.. slept like a king! i really like the concept of a floor of computers and a floor of common room with fully furnished kitchen and huge dvd library. this was a place to relax. i prefered staying at the hostel on the evenings than going out. great experience.

oh my word that a amasing place , oh ...the staff very nice and i feel zagrab as ma home town,so next door annas mom make me a nice croasian food thats make me come back again.....well am boking ma ticket to croasia for next summer soon.and am coming back for suer mali mark zagreb. thanks for everything see u soon vajira liyanage sri lanka

Overall, not a bad hostel. A bit hard to get to and in a bit of a sketchy area and a solid 20 mins away from the train station even if you do happen to find . Nice hostel though. Beds were comfortable but you had to make the sheets and take them off before leaving. Funny owners though- they were very helpful!

Whilst not exactly central, Mali Mrak made up for this with kind, helpful staff (thanks Andriana!), amazing decor, a very friendly house cat called Ali Baba, nice beds and free computers. Could've done with more showers, but apart from that - superb!

Bright, cheerful and clean hostel. Really helpful staff- especially when you need to make a phone call to a local and can't speak Croation. Really easy to get to by tram.

Nice hostel and very helpful staff, but we thought it was too far away from the city centre. We had an early morning train departure and the '24/7' public transport system is not quite an accurate description. For those of you traveling to and from the hostel before midnight, the tram system is great, but be aware that after about midnight and before 5am, there are infrequent busses only.

The place to stay in zagreb !

Had a brilliant time, fantastic atmosphere. Easy to reach on the tram. The staff were really helpful, especially when we arrived at 5 30am and were given a bed for the morning! lovely

Great place, great staff, had a lot of fun, looking forward to come back.

The hostel is quite far from the city centre - however it is very easy to reach by the trams - which run all day and night! It is a lovely hostel - very homely - excellent facilities and free internet. I fully recommend this to anyone travelling on a budget and I shall certainly return upon my next visit to Zagreb!

Good hostel. Located a bit outside of the city center so a little hard to find at first but ok in the end once you know where you're going. We had a very nice private double-bed room. The hostel is a little small and we cannot comment about the other rooms (dormitories etc.) but we were very satisfied with our stay for one night over there. Nothing bad to report.
