Hostel Mali Mrak Zagreb

Welcome to our Hostel! It's quite an ordinary and simple place. What we prefer here in Mali Mrak is an exchange of ideas, lifestyles, cuisine, freedom, philosophy, tolerance, new perspectives and friendship! Here, you can do and be who you are and have a nice time with us. We support travelers in all possible ways if you think you can contribute to our place (we do art, play music, there's even a piano you can use etc.), do it and stay the night for free or get a discount. Visit us, it's all about expanding our ways and views, learning each other's customs and ways.
Our place is just a miniscule waypoint on your road, but it can be a memorable one indeed. We offer respect and honesty, simplicity and common sense. If you understand this spirit, we will all get much more from your visit here than just a stay at 'another place'. Besides that, we have many other nice stuff here
*rpg's (Planescape setting) and boardgaming, upon request available
*you can have free yoga sessions, if you are interested in that (just pure yoga, no religion or metaphysics attached, in the spirit of free ideas:)),
*certified medicinal massage for a very good price (our dear neighbor Anna),
*workshops for guests who are interested in communicational techniques and drama games (hosted by Ivana Marijancic);
Additionally, there's free laundry service, wi-fi etc. - the little things that make the road a much more pleasant experience.

If you like to cook, we have free delivery of fresh fish from the Adriatic sea for you . If you have no idea what to do with the fish, let's pool our resources and make a dinner together, Croatian maritime style, we'll show you how.

Also, we can give you invaluable insider advice not only on Zagreb and Croatia, but for other countries in the Balkan area, don't hesitate to ask us, we've traveled enough around here to know a thing or two. I probably forgot to mention some other useful things, but you'll discover for yourself that we can be quite the bag of plenty. Hope to see you in Zagreb & wish you a pleasant trip.

PLEASE NOTE:
The City Tax (7kn per person per night or cca. 1) is not included in the room price you book on Hostelworld!! We have to charge it in any case, and since many wonder what that is, here goes: it's not something any hostel makes up, it's just that - a city tax that goes to the state of Croatia, a way to make money. We must charge it, and keep it separately because of account keeping, so we rather choose not to incorporate it into the bed price (that means: raising that same price for said amount and proclaim 'no additional tax') and charge it separately.
