Great, friendly staff that were very helpful in telling us the local places to go off the beaten path. My Wife and I enjoyed our stay and will definitely stay again if ever back in Boquete.

Great hostel, in an awesome location. It's definitely on the older side (could use a renovation), although the staff was very helpful and offered lots of great tips on things to do in Boquete.

Couldn´t fault the hostel. The pub next door puts out some loud music, but we were warned and it cuts out at midnight - so if that´s an issue just let the staff know. The pancakes for breakfast were welcome; I was impressed by the DVD library - extensive. Location close to the supermarket in addition to some well-cheap local sodas impressed me too. Yep, top place to stay.

This was THE most fantastic hostel I have stayed in. Everything was CLEAN. The staff was THE most helpful. They told us everything and anything we wanted to know and took us on alot of really neat day trips for small fees. Free wifi and internet access, great common areas. AMAZING location. Really Really Really fantastic. Had so much fun here, Our room was super great. I've been to 26 Countries and this was my favorite hostel of everywhere I have been. THANK YOU!!!!!

Excellent hostel with a good vibe and helpful staff. The hostel has lots of common areas, the beds are comfortable, it has plenty of bathrooms/showers, has laundry- and dryingmachines. I really liked the hostel and I had a great time!

I really liked the place. Actually one of my best hostels on this trip. I also liked every single one of the staff. But I would like to see some local person work there and especially lead tours, instead of only more or less unexperienced travellers.

Hostal Mamallena provided a pleasant friendly place to stay, lots of good info on the area, and a very interesting and diverse group of fellow travellers to meet and share with. Oh, and the pancakes were good, too.
