Super easy to find, which coming after dark is definitely a plus. They seemed a little understaffed when I was there -- there was a little mess with several bookings on the day I arrived, but they solved it in a flash all while cracking jokes with us weary travelers. Nice backyard, clean facilities. Recommended.
- for the mountain hike, a return trip should be offered as well - staff weren't very receptive (except for Juan) - hostel wworld upped the prices by 2.50$/person/night : book directly on the website of the hostel. I thought there were no fees...
The hostel was okay the beds were the most comfortable I've ever slept in at a hostel. The WiFi did not work well in most of the hostel. Also, they charged me the full amount even though I paid my deposit through hostelworld. I didn't realize until after I left though, so I guess that's my fault. Its still a bit shady though.
pros: great location, friendly receptionist, travel agent desk competitive pricing and handy location, heaps of movies on offer, common room has lots of space, power points at every bunk (top & bottom), good wifi. cons: only one shower downstairs has hot water - the one closer to reception is only cold water (sucks finding that out the hard way), pancake breakfast sounds good but it would be nice to have more than just maple syrup to put on top, bar next door is loud.
WiFi was spotty, staff were nice, but there was mold in the showers.
It was really a great place. It was pretty quiet with people always heading out to the volcano. Cleaning all the time. Staff were informative about their tours. Pretty good.
Located in the centre of Boquete so thats good. They organise a lot of tours. Don't expect to have a good rest though, the music from the cafe next door is very loud, and the door between the bed and the hallway is not thick enough to block out any sound, let alone the drunk English dudes. Also: they don't have hot showers so don't believe that. Good atmosphere though, and the staff is very helpfull.
A nice place owned by some friendly Italians. There is a good courtyard to relax in which is a pizzeria at night.
Hostel was in great location. Staff were helpful. Rebecca was extremely helpful and friendly.
