Perfect hostel - everything was fine. A really good information on the city(sights and daytrips) and not far from the train station. The neighbourhood doesn't look so good, but I never had problems (also at night).

The owner, Mr Stefano, is very friendly. He gives you tips on where to eat e.g.Da Michele where Julia Roberts ate in Eat. Pray, Love. and how to get to places. Location is a bit dodgy, took some time to find to find it in some back alley. Advice to future travelers just take the corner of Hotel Una and walk straight till you see Hostel Mancini sign and buzz in. Security is good inside. Other than the dodgy location, it is really close to a supermarket MD which is good, and to the train station if you

Great and safe place to stay in Naples. I would recommend this hostel to anyone who needs to stay in a safe place but close to the train station. The staff is very friendly and helpful and give you a detailed introduction to Napoli and around. Free breakfast, guest PC with internet and communal kitchen are great. Luggage storage was really useful.

Great Hostel, great people, and great location. Come on people, when I read some of the reviews about this hostel being in a dodgy location I was a little concerned, now after being there, I am more concerned where they have visited in the world. Its not dodgy, its busy, its not dangerous its alive. If you have been to Asia, then you will understand live markets, people selling goods and the hustle and bustle of a active market, the hostel itself is A-Grade, would recommend it to my mum. ;-)

We were afraid of the neigborhood. Even the guy at the tourist office told us to be careful and not come back late... However, the Hostel is very secured. You must ring the bell to enter the gate, plus once inside, the door to go to the rooms is locked for more security. The staff is excellent! Give great clues to the famous spot were we should go, how to go to X or Y... The kitchen is very clean. Even the towel to dry your hand always smells like Fleecy. In brief, I would return to this hostel.

Nice hostel and nice staff. Naples, however, is not really somewhere I'd ever want to visit again. So dirty and pickpockets everywhere. Hostel was great though, and they had good Internet. Good location too. Very close to the train station.

We really don't understand why this guest wrote something like "pickpockets everywhere"!?! Probably she went to ask one by one if he/she was a pickpocketer?!? Plus On theh rating about LOCATION she also rated 100/100.... It is really weard and ridicoulous!!!!!!

The hostel is perfect located just on the opposite side of the train station, and in the heart of the city...it's possible to walk to reach any place in Neapleas. The people there were really nice and the people I met too. The rooms were cleaned and nice located on the daily market of Garibaldi. If someone wants to have a real experience of the city has to spend a few nights there!

Everything is brilliant inside the hostel, nice staff, and good rooms. However, in a poor district where black markets by day, and rather sketchy at night, however you can get out of there quickly too

A lovely little place with excellent staff, good basic breakfast and a nice enough room. The street outside can be a bt noisy due to the market, but it seems safe. There is a very cheap supermarket 50 metres away and a good kitchen to cook in. I recommend it.

A comfortable and safe hostel. Facilities are fine, and breakfast is basic. Felt safe, but sadly not possible to lock lockers. On my last day I had a problem with my onward booking, and the owner went out of his way to help me find an available hotel - far beyond the call of duty and a huge help to me, for which I'm most grateful. Location is central, but keep your wits about you at night. I would recommend this hostel and use it again myself :-)

This was my first time staying at a hostel and I have to say, I was impressed. The room and the kitchen area was well kept. I had to share a bathroom and it was cleaner than some hotels I've stayed in. My only issue was the loud noises in the midddle of the night. Since my room was near the door, everytime someone was buzzed in or leave, I would hear it. Otherwise, the hostel was very pleasant.

The owner and the staff at this hostel were really friendly and helpful. The location close to the train station, great for day trips to Pompeii, Vesuvius, Soronto ect. The area outside the hostel has a very busy market area which looks a little sketchy but inside the hostel is nice and secure. There is a really nice kitchen in the hostel and a cheap supermarket nearby. Also, eat at Pizzeria di Michele - Delicious!

Staff was super helpful with checking in and provided a detailed route of how to see the main sights. The location was in a sketchy neighborhood but it was super close to the train station which was awesome and we didn't have any issues. Everything was clean and the breakfast had a good selection. Great value for your money!!

Hostel Mancini is the best hostel I have ever been to. The staff are incredibly friendly, the rooms are immaculately clean and, most of all, the atmosphere is unparalleled. I have no complaints about my stay whatsoever as it genuinely was flawless. I had a fantastic time there and on top of all this, I'm staying in touch with the owners who I now consider to be good friends. All in all, I would rate Hostel Mancini as 10/10!
