Only one toilet and shower for floor and they're in the same room. Area looks very dodgy and unsafe. But overall close to station, staff are helpful and free breakfast, what more could you want/need from a hostel!

This was a fun hostel. I liked that they do aperitivo night on Thursdays & Saturdays - it gave a bunch of us the hostel a chance to get to know each other and mingle, and later go out for pizza (REALLY close to some of the best pizza places in town). The breakfast is pretty good and the rooms are not too small. The lockers only fit really big locks, and they don't rent locks, so keep that in mind. The hostel itself is very safe, but the area is not that great so don't walk around at night alone

Hostel Mancini is located in a sketchy area of town, but this is Naples so you kinda get used to it after 2 days or so! The hostel itself was very good, facilities were impressive and the rooms were clean and tidy! Free breakfasts were a good addition! The staff here are very attentive (compared to others I have visited), they will give their all to help you and won't complain about doing so... Biggest plus is that the hostel is literally down the road from the train station - very useful!

Hostel Mancini is good for a short stay. The neighbourhood and Naples as a whole didn't appeal to me as a female traveller as surrounding streets felt unsafe and a little dirty. Rooms didn't seem to block out any street noise or voices from the hallway. My bed was very uncomfortable. Overall it was good for my layover - the hostels love of Nutella and ability to provide a decent breakfast is ideal for budget travellers. Staff are fab! They can help you navigate Naples or suggest activities.

Such friendly and helpful staff, they were wonderful at the start showing me where to get into the city and how to get to Pompeii etc, and even where to get the best pizza. Very colorful inside and lots of Nutella and a nice breakfast each morning, one of my favorite hostels

It's a good hostel right by the train station which is convenient. The big downside s that it's in a very scary area. I wouldn't want to go out when it wasnt light out and even then it was uneasy.

Hostel Mancini is very well located for its vicinity to Napoli Centrale and the old center of the city, as well as the port (in case you're boarding for a trip to Capri or the like), and they have the huge benefit of having 24-hour reception. However, the area can be a bit sketchy at night so be careful if you do arrive late. The facilities could be improved (the bunks are a little shaky and not all beds have reading lights), but with a free breakfast, it's well worth the money you're paying.

Great hostel, free breakfast, good wifi throughout the hostel. Great location near the train and metro stations, so very easy to get out of Naples to visit the surrounding areas and easy to get to see the attractions within naples. Area is a bit run down but they are currently regenerating outside the train station and i think the whole area will be alot nicer then. Hostel inside is great, good kitchen with great choice for breakfast, dining room and common area too.

The hostel is near from the train station.. at night I had scared to go out the hostel.. it's no nice!! The room was ok but they don't have plugs for all beds .. specially for the beds on the top! the clean of the bathroom was poor. I don't recomend this hostel neither the zone.. If you want go to Naples.. you should stay in the center.. I think is more secure. And pay attention in the main station ;)

The rooms only have one key, and you can't hand wash any of your clothes. Breakfast was nice and the staff was very helpful.

The location is close to the train station, but in a pretty dodgy area. The manager basically barked at me about what bags to carry on me to be safe, which is good but also very unsettling.

Probably this' guest did not appreciate the quality and friendliness of the staff who suggested starew pickpockets that are everywhere as in any city in the world......

The hostel is near the train station which is very convenient, but a not so nice area. Security is very good in the hostel. Great that you can use the kitchen. Hostel is clean, sheets smelled clean and lovely. Shower pressure good. No soap in bathroom. Stepping out the hostel doors into this area of Napoli is very intimidating. Saw a woman get her purse snatched.

Great place to stay on a confusing city. The staff were really helpful in helping us get around, the breakfast was plentiful and delicious, the kitchen was well stocked and clean, and there was free wifi in the rooms. The security was really tight (so much so that it was occasionally inconvenient) but great place to stay! Would HIGHLY reccomend it.

Somewhat strange that beverages are not allowed in the fridge ( to buy the drinks from his vending machine at no discount rates).

Thanks for your stay at Hostel Mancini. Fridge is to give guests the service to store and keep food fresh and as you know if you buy and leave 7/8 bottles in the fridge other guests cannot leave their food for the days they have to stay in the Hostel and we give MORE importance to food then drinks just because guests prefer to use our kitchen to save money instead then going to spend much more money for restaurants, if someone wants to have cold drinks there is a nice place next to the Hostel..

It's conveniently close to train and metro, as well as the greatest pizzeria you will ever eat at. The location is a bit rough around the edges, but then so is the entire city. The staff are very friendly and helpful. All in all great value for money.

I had such a great time in Napoli at Mancini Hostel I can't wait to go back! Stefano and Alfredo were two great guys who taught me alot about Napoli and Italy; the city is truly amazing. As for the hostel is is conveniently located very close to the Central station, has good Wi-fi, clean facilities and breakfast every morning. In terms of atmosphere and "Italian feeling" one of the best hostels I've ever stayed at. Take care Alfredo and Stefano!
