Small, Clean, and Safe, Hostel Mancini is the most centrally located backpackers' hostel in Naples.
The property offers several types of accommodation to meet your needs—ideal for solo travelers as well as families, students, and groups of friends.

Located right in front of Naples Central Train Station (5 minutes on foot), with easy access to local Circumvesuviana trains to Herculaneum, Mt. Vesuvius, Pompeii, and Sorrento. It’s a great location for Erasmus students, being just 5 minutes away from Naples' main universities, Federico II and L'Orientale. The famous 'Antica Pizzeria da Michele' is only 3 blocks from the hostel.

A short walk takes you to the port with ferry services to many local islands such as Capri, Ischia, and Procida, as well as other destinations throughout Italy, including Palermo, Catania, and Sardinia.

Football fans can also call in advance to purchase tickets to watch S.C.C. Napoli play live at the historic Diego Armando Maradona Stadium. Tickets can be picked up at the hostel on game day!

Our friendly multilingual staff (English, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, Polish, and German) are always happy to answer your questions and provide useful information about local destinations, affordable restaurants, and other places of interest in Naples.

We provide all guests with a free city map and show you how easy and cheap it is to reach the most important tourist attractions in the city.
Please allow us to provide you with all the right information about the city and guide you through worry-free and affordable day trips to surrounding places such as Herculaneum, Mt. Vesuvius, Pompeii, Sorrento with Positano and Amalfi, and of course the islands of Capri, Ischia, and Procida.

Every morning from 8:00 to 10:00 a.m. we offer a nice free breakfast.
Vegan breakfast options are available.

Has to be the most strict hostel I’ve ever stayed in. They close completely from 10:30-14:30 for their “cleaning hours” which is ridiculous. How are you going to tell paying customers that they can’t be in their own room for four hours of the day? They also watch you like hawks here, I felt like everything I did was being scrutinized and commented on. The neighborhood is also sketchy and DIRTY every guest we talked to here was a bit annoyed.

The staff were all very lovely and super helpful with figuring out things to do like go on day trips and sorting the ferries to different islands and things like that. It was always clean and the rooms and bathrooms were spacious and easy to use.

Lovely clean hostel, with friendly, helpful staff. You can pay for the hostel to do your laundry - which we did - and which was done very nicely. Breakfast was good, and generally good (and immaculate) kitchen facilities. The hostel is situated in one of the rougher parts of Naples, and we often felt very on-edge walking through the neighbourhood. However, once through the door, the hostel always felt safe and secure. Thank you for a lovely stay.
