Hostel Mandala is incredible, by the far the friendliest, cleanest and most comfortable hostel I´ve known. One complaint is the distance fromk town and the lack of young people, but it´s easy to hang out all night in the comfortable hostel.

Best hostel so far in Argentina - very kind and helpful staff. It is a bit far from town, but whoever go to El Bolson should especially do it for the surroundings and the walks in the mountains - being outside town is in that case an advantage! Just GO!

VERY nice hostal, however its a far way from the center (don't even think about walking it with your luggage from the bus terminal) which doesn't show so clear on the hostal's page. The house is new and in perfect shape, the kitchen outstanding and the staff very friendly. If you don't mind taking a cab to town and back (cheap, 13 AR$), this is where you want to stay!
