That's a lovely place to stay, the staff is really good and may help you to find good things to do. Ask Joel for the Itaipu visit...

This cosey hostel is a perfect place to stay for a visit to the Iguazu Falls. The Hostel ownwers are very helpful to organize or plan the trip to the Falls and if you like a Bird Park on the brasilian side. After comming back from the Falls you can relax at the pool, pick mangos, cook dinner with the other guests and the hostel owners, enjoy a caipirinha or even watch a movie at night. If you love riddles this is also the place to show your skills as the hostelowners share this passion as well.

Well equipped hostel, comfortable beds and warm hosts. Hosts were nice enough to invite me to home cooked meals. Location was a little away from town but there is a supposedly functional bus service that I didn't try. taxi service would be too expensive to take too often though for regular backpackers on a budget, but hostel price is cheap and value for money.

Nice hostel, with super friendly, welcoming staff! The location is outside of the main area but if you only come to see the waterfalls this is not a problem. There is a mini supermarket on the same street only a few steps away. The facilities are nice and well equipped. They have lockers in the entrance area.

Great hostel. Excellent staff and atmosphere. Joe and Gisella hosted a big Christmas party and were always extremely helpful. Good social atmosphere and a swimming pool. Highly recommended.

Well Wow! After being in so many hostels in life this particular place really stayed in my memory. In this hostel you are a guest not a customer. Everything is top-notch clean and the premises are excellent. The staff is fabulous - Joe and Giselle are the ones that make this hostel work and confortable for everyone regardless of how little of time you are going to spend. Everyone who is staying over in Iguazu - Manga Rosa is the best place to check in!

His hostel was more like anime that I was visiting, the owners are soo friendly and even invited us to the cinema for the evening. Breakfast was good and the pool was really nice.

Loved my stay here! I only stayed one night but wish I had longer. Amazing hosts! The beds were great, the wifi fast and showers very good. Everything you need from a hostel and more. Joe cooked dinner for me which was so lovely as I had a big day. Would recommend staying here.

Had a fantastic stay at Manga Rosa hostel - Joe and Gissela (sorry for awful spelling) were always happy to help! Cleanest hostel we ve stayed in so far on our trip, spotless! They provide towels too which is always a bonus. We had a free welcome caipirinha and had a bbq in the evening. There s a swimming pool too and they offer good value transfers to the falls. Really close to a supermarket too.

Our stay at Manga Rosa was the best we had on our trip. The owners were really caring and helpful. We had dinners together and they organized a driver to bring us to the Argentinian side of the iguacu falls for a good value of money. The rooms, kitchen and bathrooms were very clean and the common areas such as pool and TV room were also very nice. It felt like a home for us and we would definitely come back! Aaaaawesome!

We had a very nice stay in this hostel. The owner and his wife speak english very well and they were really friendly and helpfurl. He cooked a real brazilian dish for us, took us out to nice fish eating place for dinner and watched a brazilian movie with us. The rooms were clean and we had a good view on the dam. Unfortunately the hostel is a little outside the centre, but the centre of Foz isn´t a real centre. There are only a few restaurants, nothing special. So it doesn´t matter.

This is a very nice hostel BUT it is very far out of the town. To town the bus takes about 30 minutes, and is not frequent (there are 1 or 2 per hour). The directions from the bus station are impossible to follow, meaning you will have to take a taxi. However... staff are very nice, and they also make homemade cake and other nice things. You can use the washing machine for free, and there is a nice chilled out atmosphere. If it was close to town this place would be great...

The hostel is run by a very nice couple who really make you feel at home and part of their family. Our room was very large, comfortable and clean. The only negative is the location as it's far from town. Be prepared to get a taxi on arrival.

We felt very comfortable and at home at joes and Gisellis manga rosa hostel! The house is big with good facilities and nice hammocks in which you can chill on a lazy afternoon. Joe and Giselli are always there to answer questions. And they even cooked for us one night. Hostel is also close to itaipu dam. Joe also drove us to the Argentinian side of the waterfalls and made a good price for the trip. We enjoyed the wide variety of DVDs joe has and would def recommend the place to everybody.

Lovely service thank you

Very comfortable hostel, ran by a lovely couple who make you feel completely at home. Space in our dorm room limited but the communal areas were large and comfy. Very clean throughout, bar and swimming pool area still in progress so didn't sit out there much. Very helpful and knowledgable owners who were very willing to make sure you have a good time. Good place to stay, good showers, free lockers but it is quite a way out of town so be prepared for bus or taxi rides to gt anywhere. Good place

Best BBQ even after 3 weeks in Brazil! Have to catch two buses to falls and Argentinian border but it is very close to the Itaipu dam and the owners always give you good directions.

OK, the only thing you could possibly fault with this hostel is it's location - it's NOT in downtown, but then you need to ask yourself why do i need to be downtown in Foz Do Iguacu??? You don't. This place feels like staying at a friends house rather than a hostel. The couple running the place are awesome and full of information about Brasil and anything else you might want to know. We watched some cool films, had a few beers and shared a dinner together. Really nice experience!

My friends and I truly enjoyed our stay at hostel Manga Rosa. It felt like you were a house guest at Joe 's home and he went out of his way to make us feel at home and ensured that we had everything and information we might need. One night, he drove us to a restaurant since the restaurant was far away and also lent us money to pay for the meal when our credit cards didn't work. Great facilities with hot showers, inviting family atmosphere, and two of the cutest dogs ever! One of the best hostels
