Magna Rose was a friendly clean hostel, with a bar, pool table and friendly staff. Jo(I assumed he is the owner) put on BBQs most nights. We stayed in a double ensuite and the room was huge, however there was no 'warm' water (the funny brazilian shower heads sometimes work, ours didn't at all) The location isn't anywhere near the center of town and you have to catch buses to commute to the rodavario en route to the falls, which was easy enough to figure out

thanks for the review. And sorry about the shower, we use electric shower, which is the opposite of the gas system, (the gas the more you open the hotter it gets, and the more open electric cooler is water). Slightly opening the water is heated. big hug, and have a nice trip.

This hostel was very difficult to find and was not sign posted on the street at all. The taxi driver had to drive back and forth several times before we finally found the hostel. For a hostel that exists primarily for tourists travelling to Iguassu falls where tourists are guaranteed to get drenched, there were absolutely no drying facilities. This made our trip to this hostel quite unpleasureable.

Had a good time at this hostel, it is a little far out the way form town though. One of the staff gave me a lift to the bus station to catch to Iguassu the day I was leaving, which was very nice.

Really well run hostel, great facilities with some of them no doubt excellent for when summer comes around. A couple of short buses to the falls but it's really no hassle, nice tranquil spot

The hostel and staff were great. The outdoor area and private room was excellent and very comfortable. The night we got their the host made us a Brazilian BBQ that was delicious, a great hostel, highly recommend.

Everybody working for the Hostel was very friendly and did their job. The whole atmosphere of the place was very familial. They served a very good breakfast daily. Prices were very good.

Not a perfect location for the international bus terminal and for transport to the Falls. Slightly overbearing staff who seemed perturbed by our making independent plans. Otherwise, clean rooms, a small swimming/paddling pool, exceptional (and growing!) Budweiser palisade and a terrace area to meet fellow-minded fun-loving globe trotters like yourselves.

Very clean hostel, makes you feel like home. It's about 4 km away from main bus terminal. Need to get two buses to Iguazu Falls.

Great place and amazing staff, a little Bit away from the town but easily accessible by bus!

Good little hostel, clean rooms and facilities. I arrived late at night and it was a quieter night but I did manage to relax with a couple of the other guests. Only stayed the one night before getting a bus to my next destination

This hostel is brilliant and I would definetly recommend staying here! It is very clean, good breakfast, mini market 2 minutes away. The bus stop for iguazu falls, Paraguay and Argentina are also only 2 minutes away. The hostel has a nice chilled atmosphere, the pool is lovely and you can even smoke shisha! The staff are brilliant and will do anything to help you out! They even gave us a ride into Argentina and sorted out our bus tickets to buenos aires! We really enjoyed our stay here!

Very clean and amazing host who will do anything for you.... It is like home away from home ...The owner and staff are very helpful and give you all teh tips of how to get to the falls.... the hostel is 4km away but for 2.5 real (Brazillian money) you can get to anywhere including the falls and the airport...

Excellent staff, very clean, lovely place!

Hi I can totally recommend this Hostel! It´s not located verz centrally, but who cares in Foz...You have to take the taxi or busses anyway to go to the Falls. The staff was VERY VERY VERY friendly and helpful! Jo, the owner, even drove us to the brazilian falls for a very fair price! The service is great, the atmosphere is very nice, if you go to Foz choose that Hostel! Abracos Jo! Marcel

Had the best time at this hostel! Everything was so clean and organised! The outside area with the pool and bar was a great place to hang out and meet people. The owners were just fantastic and even made me a special drink because it was my birthday! They were so helpful booking buses aswell as organsing us to visit both sides of the falls! Highly recommended!!

A cheap and good hostel in Foz Do Iguazu. An excellent breakfast and clean dorms and kitchen. However location is not very convenient as pretty far from the bus station with all the main buses that goes to the falls...

Great people running the place. Very comfortable, and a great atmosphere. I met several other travelers there and ended up having a great time.

Nice hostel and really affordable! Just a little bit off the beaten track...

We stayed at Manga Rosa a few weeks back and loved our stay. Joe and Giselle were amazing hosts and were more than willing to go the extra mile for good customer service. The hostel has a great outdoor area and the rooms are nice and clean. It is in a good location and buses are easy to catch. Would definitely stay again!!

Truly a nice place and the best owners i have met for a long time. They are so helpful with any kind of problems or curiosity you could have. A little hostal owned by the lovely couple, and you will feel like home(except it is warm there, i'm from Denmark;) If i go to the falls again, i would without a doubt, stay there again :)
