As an older traveler (45 years old) I thought Hostel Mango was probably more suited to younger people but I enjoyed it anyway. It is easy to find and in a great location, not too far from a metro stop and very close to many of the beautiful tourist sites. I didn't take advantage of the activities, but they offer free walking tours. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The beds were comfortable, but I would have liked the option of a female dorm instead of mixed - even so, it was fine.
everything was fine but my room was hot that i couldnt sleep :(

The atmosphere had everything to be great, but unfortunately there were a lot of people who couldn't respect the 'silence law'. Hence, sleeping was kind of a problem.

Lovely hostel - very much like a hotel in our ensuite double private room. Very clean and tidy and great basic facilities. Staff were helpful and there were leaflets to help you plan activities/look at what is on. the location is great - everything in walking distance - a one minute from the Charles Bridge and it felt very safe. The courtyard area was a little noisy at night but that is to be expected with other guest and it being a hostel. Would definitely stay here again!
Decent hostel. Biggest complaint that the rooms were sweltering! No air conditioning and no fans so it made it very hard to sleep. Besides the rooms were great. Best thing was the location. Less than the minutes walk Charles bridge, 15-20 minutes walk the castle 10 minute walk to old Town square. The patio area was nice but kind of dead most of the time, not easy to meet people but that could have been the i was there. Overall would recommend.
The best parts were location and security. Right by all that's on your tourist list in Prague. Lockers for everyone at no cost. The bathrooms weren't the cleanest I've seen in a hostel but far from the worst. Internet was pretty good. Drawbacks: no breakfast and lots of stairs (but that's not uncommon; just be prepared). Staff is very friendly and helpful. Your luggage can stay before and after checkout for free. Good times.
Location couldn't be better. Really liked the back patio and cheap cans of beer being sold behind the front desk. Also having your "own" shower for the dorm room was clutch. Everything was clean, and the beds were surprising comfortable. Lastly the huge individual lockers next to each bed were great and the plug ins next to each bed including top bunks was nice. You can recharge and while your phone does too.
100% best bed and internet by far !!! its not a party hostel and thats fine cause its still quite social !!! can be noisy but thats normal. staff are amazing would happily go back, location is tops too prague is quite small so getting around is easy. guys if your in prague stay here !!!! just trust me also bathrooms in rooms are massive and great shower too ;-)

Very nice hostel, we arrived a day early and they were booked u, but they send us to "Orange Hostel" (which wasnt even half as nice as Mango. Back to Mango, very good location (at least for us who enjoyed walking all day and found it very easy to arrive) Also very clean, the staff were great, always smiling and willing to help. The kitchen was a bit poorly equipped but besides that it was very clean, had nice common spaces. The room was nice aswell, oed the big bathroom. Would stay here again =)
The location is pretty good in that there is easy access to the sites and the metro. The 6-bed dorm is a bit crowded, but has a bathroom as big as the bedroom. Although the hostel is located away from the crowds, it still can get noisy since all the rooms are adjacent to the courtyard. Also, I expected breakfast, but they did not serve any while I was there. I recommend czeching out the restaurant on the same block, Lokal.
Cant ask for more. all round good hostel
Hostel mango was awesome, you will meet tons of great people and have a great time. Don't expect to get much sleep!
Good hostel but REALLY noisy because people were sitting i the courtyard talking all night. Unfortunately these sounds echoed and amplified up to our room and made it difficult to sleep. We couldn't close the window because the room was too hot. We asked the staff to do something, but they weren't able to help. Since this room was quite expensive, I expected to be able to get a good night's sleep. That didn't happen. :( I would not stay here again.
Had the most wonderful time at this hostel! The atmosphere is amazing, with a large outdoor and indoor common area for socializing. The only thing is that it may get loud as all the rooms surround the outdoor area. The kitchen wasn't ideal because the dishcloths were dirty. Also, the fridge was overflowing and hard to add our food items into. Other than that, the hostel is perfect for location as it is right beside the Charles Bridge. Recommend for anyone! Loved it here.
Really good and comfortable beds. They had a nice courtyard where you can meet people and drink beer. A bit noisy at night sometimes. Great location.
The hostel was fine but the locker situation was bad. We were in a room of eight people with 8 lockers but 3 were not able to be used since previous guests had left their locks. Multiple people in the room told the staff to ask them to clip the locks off and they were not helpful.
Great hostel! The best of my whole trip
Great value for money. Great location and clean toilets/showers. They have bring your own lock lockers. They do have secure keypad lockers, but not enough for all guests. Strong wifi throughout building. Nice little common area, but there are rooms adjacent to it, so you might have to deal with some noise if you are on the first floor
The room we booked was a double private and it was huuuge. Great location just a block away from Charles Bridge and value for money in one of Europe's most beautiful cities.
