I have nothing to complain about the hostel. The room itself, the shower, the toilet and linens were all clean. The atmosphere was also good. People living there are kind and calm, so I could spend my time like my home. The location was very nice. You can go anywhere in the city by walk.
One of the best hostels I tried! In the very center of the town, very clean with the cutest interior. Everything is new and clean, and the staff is very helpful and fun :) Free apples, tea & coffee and xbox!
The staff is horrible, we wait a lot to someone open tha door and they don't help us with anything, they doesn't know nothing and it was soo rude! I hate!!
We stayed for 2 nights during the New Years celebration. The heating in the Hostel was very good and there was always hot water in the showers. The bathroom was avarage, there should be some material for cleaning that you can clean after yourself. Also in the kitchen. The owner is very friendly and helpful. The atmosphere of the hostel is very nice and feels like home. The hostel needs some womans touch :) You can have tea and coffe for free and how much do you want (BIG plus+).

We arrived before the check in time, and the guy at the reception wasn't helpful at all. We had to pay 2euro per person to leave our luggage there and went to walk around to city. We came back at around 5pm, and there was a different guy at the reception. That guy was really helpfull, and helped us out a lot. The rooms were pretty ok, but the sheets were smelling a lot, specially the pillow. And the showers weren't very good, there were only 2 showers (for woman) and one didnt have a courtain
totally overpriced, you can hear every word of people talking in the rooms next to you, room vibrates when trams go past
There's no BETTER Hostel than Hostel Mansard. Hans Christian Anderson thought Bratislava 'enchanting' and he'd have been doubly assured had he met Igor (the Mansard owner) and all of his wonderful staff. They simply can't do enough and the welcome, location (just up from the Slovak Pub where if you are a university student/teacher you'll receive not only hearty local fare but a generous discount), security (it's a former police station after all) and downright 'friendliness' can't be bettered.
Great hostel, staff really nice. It is the perfect place for a good sleep. It is small and there is an atmosphere which makes you feel like home. In the heart of the city. I definitely recommend
Hostel nice & quaint comfy beds shower was good. The day staff guy was great, but night guy was terrible. We had long termers in our room coming & going all night making lots of noise & turning on the light, even at 6am! when they fell into bed & dominated the tiny lounge all night making it impossible to meet anyone & they weren't interested in making friends Nor did I want to though, forcing us into the hall. Then night staff has balls to tell me to be quiet when sitting silently on my laptop
Staff were awesome, not great atmosphere. Small kitchen. Great location
A very good location. Breakfast is simple but good. The staff is very helpful and informative. Would recommend and stay there again.
The staff were very nice and helpful. Excellent location right beside the old town as walking distance from the bus station.
We had a great stay here, although unfortunately only for a very short time. It was only about 15 minutes walk from the Bus stop and is excellently located next to old town where most things are. Our rooms were very clean and tidy and we enjoyed the garden terrace as well. Michael even woke up at 4 am to show us where to get the taxi, amazing!! Thankyou very much for having us and we hope you enjoyed the little gift as well! Love Aseem and Sarah
Igor was extremely helpful!! The only heads up is the showers. There are 3 in a single shared space, separated by curtains that dont necessarily stay in place.
Great hostel. The owner was so helpful during our stay, and he has beautiful eyes. Wifi is great in the rooms and hallway. The whole was clean and cleaned daily. Good location close to old town and to many shops. Would definitely stay again.
Hostel was good, not much going on, but that was because it was a national holiday in Bratislava whilst we were there. The free walking tour the hostel advertises was very good and interesting however the pub crawl was rubbish. We were taken to 3 average bars and clubs and left on the other side of the city with no instruction how to get home. Overall we enjoyed the city and the hostel was good. But avoid the pub crawl.
Brilliant stay! We were only there one night, but taken care of well. Got very good recommendations for our stay (especially of where to eat!). Easy to walk to the old town from here. No complaints here!
Stayed in a twin room, which was clean and comfortable. The location was great, with a short walk to tourist attractions, lots of food and drinking options right on your doorstep, and easy access to the train station and airport etc. The staff was friendly and extremely helpful. The facilities were overall great, the exception being the showers which were (most unfortunately) truly horrid; the ladies had 3 communal showers, only 1 worked, with no tap for temperature regulation?
You could think about improving your room ventilation system. In the summer when you close the window it gets really hot in the room and when you open it the trams wake you up every time they go by.

This is my favorite hostel so far. This could be just because I am so enamored by Bratislava in general, and the receptionist Igor. The location is very central, everything is walking distance. Good internet connection. Snacks for sale all the time. Cool lighting creates a relaxing atmosphere. Free in-room lockers for your stuff while you go out. I LOVE BRATISLAVA!!! Thank you Hostel Mansard.
