Manuelo is seemed like a nice guy, and he did arrive fairly quickly after we texted him while we were waiting outside the front door. The room itself was very sparse, but clean. Only problem is that there is only one shower for all maybe 3 dorm rooms, so have to keep waiting for the toilet and shower! Especially in the morning. Location isnt too bad, 5 min walk to the central area. The rooftop area was very cool!

It was a very nice experience! A hostel that gives you all the benefits of a guesthouse apartment, but with hostel prices. During summer season in Split this is quite hard to find!

The one bathroom and the mattresses on the floor was not what we expected and i was disappointed, however the staff were great and we had a great time even as it was only for one night.

We got an apartment for 7 people. The apartment was great but there was only one toilet but that's the case for most Croatia accommodation actually. The place is about 15 mins from the city centre and about 30 mins from the port where you take ships to the nearby islands.

More of an apartment than a hostel. Its basically just you and four other travellers in a room with an ensuite and small kitchen. Good location and facilities. Theres a lock on the door into the room but no lockers in the room! Great place to stay if you're travelling with a group of friends but not so good if you want to meet other travellers.

Very well located. It isn't a traditional "hostel", it's essentially an apartment turned into 2-3 dorms. There IS AC, which is nice, but there are no lockers (the front door is always locked though, so it's decently safe). Also, some mattresses are not very comfy (others are fine). There is a nice rooftop to hang out at night. I feel like it's a decent place, but for a similar price you might be able to get a better hostel with better mattresses, lockers and a better atmosphere.

The main recommendation I can make is to add lockers to the dorms. Mattresses would also need changing eventually. Improving on these two things would give the most noticeable result.

This was a great little hostel. It's super close to the old town and supermarkets and it has a kitchen for cooking. It's very clean and the staff are super friendly. I had a great time!

Great location. Helpful staff. The rooftop was nice.

Hostel Manuela is a nice place - clean, comfortable, with good location (close to everything), not too expensive, and what's most important - nice and helpful staff. :) I would recommend it! Ah! The roof terrace rulez! :)
