the wifi at room is not work, and the cooker is not work, and the location is not at the town center. when i discover the cooker got problem, i call your staff, and your staff just speak to me in her own lanugage, and hand on the phone which is very impolite!

Local homeless alcoholics sitting on the bench near the hotel threatening the safeness of the left in the hostel parking car. After 8 pm the supervisor of this hostel left it and the co guests does not apply to the safety politics in this hostel. I have waited 3 hours for the hostel supervisor to get the key. Great localization although.

It was a very good experience staying there. I recommend to stay in private apartments. However, lady in the reception had little poor English and was probably new in this job so she had to call someone for asking about all the things. SO checking in was time taking :) Overall a very good place to stay and do not miss to have a tea/coffee/drinks in the nice garden.

In the summer, the big garden at the "Reserve" must be really enjoyable.

We booked the room w ensuite & stayed in the Pension (a 5 min walk from the Hostel & up many stairs). This suited us because we are a couple. BUT, this was not a hostel environment so think twice before booking this option if you're traveling on your own and seeking company.

I very much enjoyed Hostel Merlin in general, for value for money and for the helpfulness of the staff. Free internet & well equipped kitchens were also appreciated. One reservation regarding security. There is no reception or staffing at all between 9 pm and 10 am. This has implications for security as all guests are expected to lock the main door on entering and leaving. Unfortunately, some guests stupidly failed to lock the main door, twice resulting in theft of food from fridge.

Hostel Merlin is situated in the old town. Perfect location. The beds are very hard, but for the money, what do you expect. It was nice and warm, the colours of the walls made it feel even warmer. The only problem was the loud guests, playing music till the early hours. It is best to have the right amount of cash with you, as they often don't have change. Don't leave it to the last day to pay, as check out time is 10am, but the staff don't arrive until 11.

Nice hostel to stay in, it's only a small town so it's quite near to everything. The only problem I had was the shower is a push button & only disperses water for about 20seconds at a time & so I had to keep engaging it to have my shower, Other then that, there was no other problems. I would stay here again

The staff had been very kind to me, waiting me up in late night and giving me a money worthy room even though I only paid for a dorm bed. CK is a small town. The hostel looks a bit far but not at all, which can be reached by 2 minutes walk from town square. There is a bar on the other side of the bridge where the hostel locates at the other end, and two mini markets suit at in the vicinity, making the hostel rather convenient. I would stay at it again when I visit Cesky Krumlov.

There have two different houses, which the hostelworld website show you is there share room location, while the private room is behind it . The private room building is cleanly but super lonely add the house inside is very cold, make people feel it like a ghost house, the first moment I enter into the house is uncomfortable.

Lovely accommodation, we stayed in the pension across the river. Everything was clean. There was a beautiful kitchen dining area for guests to use. I would recommend this to anyone.

A very charming place located right on the river in the town center. Free wifi and computer terminals as well. Nice kitchen facilities and very economical, with rustic charm.
