Pros: location (almost in the middle of the town). Good wifi in the rooms Cons: reception staff was mostly unavailable. Tiny room (i had a private double in the attic) with barely enough standing room for 2 people. Flimsy mattress. Dirty sheets.

great hostel-we were staying in the Pension with the private rooms, was so lovley and relaxing and quiet! nice and clean and a good kitchen with free tea/coffie :) didn't want to leave cesty krumlov was such a special out of the way gem :)

Really loved our stay at Hostel Merlin. Fantastic hostel, clean bathrooms, kitchen, internet, perfect location. Rooms were small (twin private) and they didnt have a bottom sheet on the bed, it was more like a towel, which was strange. Had a great few nights here, felt very homely. Would definately choose to stay here again.

It is a home like hostel which makes you feel warm and staff of this hostel is very friendly.

It was very noisy in the room because one person in the neighbouring room snored like a tractor. I think something should be done with the walls. Also I got a rash from the sheets :(

Wow Thats this hostel Wow. The staff could be more helpful, the kitchens could be better provisioned but the price was good andI really didn't want to leave. One of the highlights of my trip has to be watchng the sunset from the hostel veranda watching the river go by with a cold Czech beer in hand.

Good hostel in a good location.

The Hostel has a great location right by the river. It's also easy to arrive by car and they do have a parking lot available for free - but you do need to reserve a spot if you want to use it. The rooms, kitchen and bathrooms were always clean and the staff was very helpful. One person in our shared room had his wallet stolen from the room while we were there...but this can happen anywhere. I would recommend this hostel.

highly recommend this place. cannot have better location and to have free coffee and tea is a big plus. very good price for a nice room. the only issue here is the security. we left our bags in a room close to reception area and when we went to collect them, there was nobody around for 5 to 10 minutes. considering that the mani door is almost always open to anybody. but for such a nice price and location I would still recommend it! apart that Cesky Krumlov is a must!!!
